  1. i know a good grouse place in scotland... in angus.. not far from Aberdeen....and it has one fo the best and most productive and dedicated team of keepers and i think one of the beast grouse head keepers north of the border (thou the head man mayyyyy be slightly of his rocker ) and they have a guy separate from the keepers who catches rabbits all day every day and that's all he dose i fact he is the old head keeper.... simply because on a good estate a team of keepers dont have time for sleep let alone arseing about after rabbits
  2. i now use a metal and rubber scraper from the agricultural suppliers.. for cleaning out cow cubicals... and its lasted better than any poxey yard brush... but the handles are still wank
  3. i whistle all the time.. but then when ime not whistling ime singing.... i cant talk for shite but ile sing all day long and into the night... my old head man used to walk past and say "thiers a man content with the world"
  4. yup i have a chip on my shoulder about the "guild" so deep i have to wear a tie to stop myself falling in half! its just another group trying to be self proclaimed experts and entitles folk with very little moleing experience to then become ( by way of a bit of paper) certified mole catchers!? i mean realy?!

  11. well ive wanted to be a keeper for a long time since about 10 year old so i went to newton rigg and done very well best attendance record in the history of the course ect ect as part of my course i had a 6 week work placement on a estate in perthshire (between sterling and creiff in the " small glen") now i worked my balls off on the placement as i was with a lad on the placement called ron..this placent was my only inside in to the keepering world i knew no keepers or shoots out side this one place so i had to make a mark... we had the first 3 weekends off...i worked all weekend when
