  1. after reading magwiches thread , showing the the damage to the trees in the orchard, i thought i would put a few pics up of what they can do all this damage was on 1 farm that i was called out to last year these next two pics i was stood at the corner of a winter wheat field on the railway bank, you can see the feed line where they have got out to , it was about a 100 yards.

  3. as hippychick said nowt new there, seen adverts from 100 year ago in exchange and mart with terrier crosses. some might even say that a lakie/patt or border would be better than most of the bedlington rubbish thats around.
  4. i have the frost clipper with the bright orange sheath so i dont loose it i have it in stainles which keeps it looking new. sharpens up well with the blade tech. would recomend them it cost me £10 at a game fair a few year back

  7. after months of doing next to no lamping, the weather finaly came right for us boys to a have a spin out last night. with a good wind and steady drizel realy pushed the rabbits far from home. we set of together , but that didn't last long as ginny was not happy about the other dogs being around , as it afects her retrive . so we split up , andy and his bag man going over the other side, and me staying on the easy side with the most rabbits Tara was on good form missed next to nothing, although her retrive is getting shoking, shes ok when its a good distance , but in close a

  9. i get £1.20 per clean rabbit , gutted, upto 200 per week, off a gamedealer , he collects from my home thats a good price for that amount of rabbits off a game dealer, tha last 2 dealers i rang were both just 50p each one in richmond and one down here at bourne in lincolnshire.

IN ACTUAL FACT the black death (plauge) was carried by the black rat or ship rat, there are very few of these in the uk now. that being said i think it could be carried by the brown rat anyway. there are out breaks of plauge around the world from time to time usualy in 3rd world countrys. there are 2 types of plauge if my memory serves , bubonic and newmonic ( spelling) more likly to get weils disease in the uk, or any number of other nastys thats rats carry TOMO

  20. quater the fields a bit to find them , always pay atention to the leywood side of little hils and rises in each field. hares will use forms out of the wind very often. cover strips, and set aside are also good places, dont ignore them cos there at the field edge. also elecy pylons , make sure you walk under them through the bramble and long grass, wish i had £1 for evry one i have flushed from under them. also small spinys in the midle of big fields. had a good few lads out with me over the years that just want to walk the midle of the fields, but i educated them even hedgrow
