  2. i have been informed they do last a little longer than a normal batterie of the same ampage. but the real advantage is the weight, they weigh nothing.
  3. up at 5 this morning , over to mansfield to pick paddy up , and up in the dales just after 8 well the plan was to doo a big bank about a hundred yard long , long net round the bottom then others criss cross , and a few purse nets. paying particular attention to the holes through and under the wall , as they always head for these. we were quite fortunate on here and went along quikly , in about 1 1/2 hour . only 2 digs as well . by the end of the bank we had 35. we then did a little 20 holer wich added another 8. then across to a nettle bed that has a good sized warren in it and

  5. heres one told to me by snareman just the other day, get one of those small fluffy chicks , the sort of thing you get from greeting card shops. glue it to a tyle or a bit of board , scatter some egg shels around. not done it myself but snareman says they cant resist
  6. i dont mean to offend but how can you justify 400 pound for a pup that has bearly left the teat. dont get me wrong i dont mean to cause an argument, maybe i just need educating about the minshaw lurcher. some look like saluki based coursing dogs and some look like bullx lamping dogs is there a difference in strain or is it just pot luck how they turn out. thankyou. £400 is a joke, they're lurchers nothing more nothing less. seems to me chubs , you just want an argument, didn't you sell your litter of whippet pups for £300 EACH , im not knocking your pups in fact they looke

    HEMP RABBITING NETS

If you layout the two types of net side by side and open them out into a circle you will see the nets cover exactly the same area. only differance is you will have 4 small triangles, one at each corner doing nothing, the meshs will be closed and seving no purpose. Now if your saying the un-shaped nets dont suit you then thats a differant matter, but to say one is better than the other doesnt make sence. just my opinion of course. Hi mole catcher, I know that if you lay them flat they cover the same area, it would be impossible for them not to however if the rabbit hits close to a

  18. cheers hi i used to make rabbit carriers with a bit of spring steel rod about 18 inches long and 4 or 5 mil diameter put the rod in a vice bend it round twice like a saftey pin ( wrap it round a broom stale to keep shape ) then just sharpen one end to a point and then bend the other end over so you can clip the pointed end in, make two of them get a bit of old seat belt sew one each end and thats it ! push the pointed end through the hock of the rabbit job done i know it sounds complicated but if you keep the principle of a safety pin in mind then it's easy far better than a ruck sack
  19. Ci will tell ya the result first rather than leave you in susspence. SCOUSER was the winner by 14 rabbits to langleys 12. now the night its self, TERRIBLE , the weather was very poor, with a lot of low lieing mist , and as we climed out of the bottoms up the dale, it tuned to fog. at this point i said to the boys lets move to another farm, we have right in the bottoms, so a 5 min drive and where there. wel no fog here , a little bit misty but manageble. not a breath of wind, and the air hung with that very damp atmosphere. to say the rabbits were thin on the ground tonight is an u
  20. did the garden that borders my permision today , this is the same spot me and breeze did erlier this year. thankfully the big lumps covered in bramble have been removed, so the rabbits were moved in to slightly easier holes. we did a few little open warrens first that produced 4 , then we did under a container , that got another 3 , then under a hedge that produced another 2 pluss a rat that Tara nailed. then up to a bit of a nettle bed with a couple of little warrens that produced 11 . we then did some above ground work with the ferts. whipped the longnet round some felled trees and
