I think we're going a couple of hours up north at the weekend, I'll make sure I take spare batteries for the camera ! Cheers. hopfully ile bump in to you at a show, when you get back,,, bring ya camera, ide like to see some of those pics good idea that i better get on ozy doggers, for when i go over next time mind you the mrs wants to go right up the east coast next time and round the top, so i dowt ile see many rabbits. nice down that bottom end
  9. your getting your dogs mixed up bullx,,,, fettle splodge litter was born back in oct 2007 there was only 4 pups, i had one , but thats been put down at 9 month, that leaves 3,,, 2 are in the north east, one young lad has one,, fieldmarshal who bred them has one,, but he works on the rigs, so it only gets limited work... and C.M who owned splodge has the other,,, but i havent spoke to him in years so dont know how it worked out
  10. fellas,, you dont need light nets or bells or even flurecent collars,,, it does help to go on a night when theres a moon,,, wich is good cos if its a dark windy night you will be lamping or long netting. you can see perfecty well on open warrens at night with a moon up
  11. no not me mate , yep had some good times down there, did a few big days , a dozen fellas , dinner and drinks
  12. Mate, if you can give me one good reason why you would want to ferret at night i'll give it a go. Richard becuse you can do places you cant do in the day at night on big parkland, had some good scores
  13. In all fairness,it sums up the difference in the quality of the 2 sports.....the fact out of shape ex boxers like Mercer/Toney can walk into mma fights at top level........that would never be allowed the other way round, and rightly so. its a f*****g circus,i honestly cant think why these great athletes degrade themselves by taking part. money we all need it
  14. done alot of running round melton myself, did have 4000 acre down there a few year back, all gone now though
  15. found this you tube page , my puter is fecking slow so i have only watched a few, but i bet there some good ones, like all the best fighters , hes very relaxed http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=buakaw+por+pramuk&aq=1&oq=bua
  16. had all those early ufc fights on vid 15 year back, good one that gracie kimo one i yoused to put them on in the bar i worked at in ibiza, lads would stand around watching whilst there women would moan and want to move on, i wone a few £££ as well , some kids thought they were live on the telly another guy i liked from back then was Igor vovchanchin, from russia, kick boxer who was very hard to ground, to be fair i dont think he did that well in ufc, but was great on the smaller les wel known mma organasitions, in todays guys , i realy like the spider anderson silva, and the french/ca
  17. i honestly dont belive these eu polecats are true polcats,,, i have seen adverts for them and the adds always read vet checked,,, but ive never seen anyone actualy put up this supposed paperwork with blood test results. good thread by the way, ferrets should only be bred cos they work well,
  18. heres a few pics of the stinkers heres the hob the siver jill
  19. i dont nesseserily agree with the first sentance, i dont think the dog does need to be perfect at all you mention first, at 4 month the pup is unlikly to be doing all those things perfectly, yet can still lern a great deal whilst being out,,, also i think you get a better dog from learning itself rather than taking second fiddle to the older dog. its always going to let the other dog dominate, maybee a few outing with an older dog, at first, but let it lern for its self
  20. all to get a full litter of runts because people are obsessed with novelty where do you get these ideas from,,, where do you think terriers came from, or any small breed of animal,, breed 2 small ones together and so on... dont just jump on a stupid answer
  21. ile answer that for you first of all i dont cosider mine micro ferrets , there just small to meduim size with lean build, greyhound type if ya like. if any one thinks my ferrets dont work or cant hack a full day on the fells have a look through my back posts fist off all i can take more ferrets in my ferret box, i can comfotably get 6 in a standard double box, now try putting 2 hobs in a hundred hole warren get 6 in and see the difrence they also go through the mesh of the nets far better,
  22. i started my dog of this way at 5mths, the only thing i done different was not to hold onto her, i gave her free reign and let her learn herself yes i should have said i only do this for a month or so , then like you there on there own
