  1. it will retrive it if you train it, i have one hear that retrives as well as a field trail lab all alive right to hand. i have a 21/2 year ld saluki x bitch bred out of captain just wounderd were to go on the fen with her course ive never been and just wonderd were to go course i think she will smash hares down there the chancesof you getting pulled are very high be careful it can be very expensive IF youget cought i normally got to a place called gotham feilds are big but i wont me bitch to have a go on the fens alot of me cousins go down there but never take me so if any

  5. Aye, all the time mate..... Try to get down once or twice a day..... What is this... pick on anon day? Are you guys telling me that only a saluki will catch a hare on the fens today?     yes other types will kill on the fens , i owned one, its in my avatar whipp/grey. but to be honest if the hares got over the 2 min mark she wasn't going to catch. thats why the fen dogs that can course over the 4-5-6 min mark do so well. most of the other types of lurcher , cant course for these lengths

  10. easy, you cant beet a 5/8 x 7/8. then put back to a 4/8x 4/8 with the resulting pup when its old enough going back to a 5'8 x 3/8. once you got to this piont your in a good position to realy start a good line. .
  11. lets put it this way , you could go and buy a kc whippet, or a border terrier pup for the same price. yet here's a dog thats fully trained, retriving rabbits and hares. for tha same price

  23. had 3 very poor days myself this year brimmer, it happens. as for leaving rabbits , in genral thats bad practice, but somtimes you just forget dont it my self in the past especialy whilst lamping , with many drop offs. or of course if some one got disturbed poaching.
