herers some ibizans hunting some scrub,, you can see the advantage in a big dog here,, with the hight of scrub,,love the way the dogs let each other retrive with no nonsence

after kittlerox put that vid up,,, ive spent a few hours watching podencos catching bunnys on difrent films ,, some good bits as well.. but heres a film i found of galgos coursing hares,, rather than a big organised meet,, this seems more like a few mates out for the day

Surely you could ask a similar question about the collie but advantages could be good feet and a thicker set leg, temperment, brains and obviously retrieving abilities would be good... A good nose in anyone hunting up could be a serious advantage... i here you mate BUT maybe be to much nose for lamping etc for a general mooching/bushing dog then yes id say they be top of their game, but as alrounders No nose, no lurcher, it's as simple as that. To say you can have too much nose for lamping is mince and highlights the fact you don't know what your talking about. A well bred all

some good clips there kittlerox,, i ended up watching 4 or 5 difrent ones,,, theres one where you can see the ferret above ground following a sent and mooving at speed,,,but some of them are using string copes.... alot of chaps over here wouldnt ferret those rock piles,, and craks in the larva

thing is weasel that the catch rate persentage goes down the more rabbits you run in a night,,,,manys the time ive had 15-20 without the dog missing,,,,but the dog still went on a and cought 30-40 or more,, but by then she may have missed 10 or more... so in some ways your correct the numbers dont tell the hole story,,,,but on the flip side ,neither does the high persentage. unless that high persentage is on a real big score....

richie is correct ,, i just looked on line,, says 7 months gestation,,,fawns are weaned at 6-8 week, and totaly independent at at 6 months

i thought there gestation period was longer than 6 month deerman,, 7 maybe 9 month,,i could be wrong born hunter i have found a very young munty fawn in december in a bramble bush,, 6 inch of snow evrywhere,,this was beating,,at the end of the drive the adult doubled back to the fawn

if its your first dog just get a lurcher to lurcher bred dog,, from good working lines on both sides
