  2. Fenton ....lol,,, bet he's had a bit of stick lately,, I'm same as you the one,,, will be out most of march ,,
  3. Yes my apologies,,, same as Laura ,,, glad the dogs on the mend,,, that's the main thing.
  4. Takes between 7 and 8 years to become a vet,,,, take a look on the net,,,, just type in....... How long does it take to become a vet,,, And some fecker send this fella , a bag of syringes,,,,lol,,, to be fair you can get them for free,,, all you need to do is go to your local needle exchange,, most towns have them,,, just google for your area,,
  5. What trotter said. Dogs have good memories,, I had a dog years ago,, got it as a pup from a mate,, he had her till 6 month old,,, evry time she saw him ,,, she knew him straight away,, was always the same with him
  6. Just been checking the weather Andy,, Tuesday night looks crap,, Thursday looks better,, not blowing a gale,, but a bit of a breeze,,, mind that could change between now and then

  8. £ 55 ain't that bad,, considering its Sunday,, they charge for there time,, and the drugs they sold ya,,, pants down would have been £ 100 plus. Just noticed your from yorkshire,,,, short arms and deep pockets you feckers
  9. Just send him a pm mate,, he was making them to order I think,,, but I've not seen him for a while ,, like I said in my post it is a little long , especially when carrying it over 1 shoulder,, but it's great as a yolk,,, I'm certain he improved on that first one he did for me,,, instead of the dog clips on the end,, he put them on the strap, and rings on the end,, and shortened it
  10. Lifelong,,, the 10z sheetnet and 4 z I have from advanced have a salvage on,,, are you sure it's not double stranded where the running lines are bob? I'm certain most machine made sheet has salvage on,, cos there for the fishing industry ,, and where we have a 2 mil running line they have 10 mil or something blue nylon rope,, so need the strength. But I stand to be corrected,,, best ringing him lifelong,
  11. She's done a good job there,, but ideally you want it shorter,,, they are going to bang around your legs and hips,,, you realy want the feet of the rabbits high up around your shoulders. You want the seatbelt strap shorter,,, and the ties with the rings on shorter. Also you don't realy need a ring on the end,,,, if you tie both ends of the string on to the ring stitched on the strap,,, that makes a loop,,,,, then just pass the loop through itself... It's very simple,,, although it might not sound it the way I have written
  12. No footpaths across fields are the responsibility of the farmer,,, in fact they can get a fine for not looking after them,, that's the case down here,,,
  13. Andy this was it,, just had a pm,, dels Luke v swoop,,, just a kick up
  14. Can't see that last clip put up by trotter,,, some films don't come up on this iPad ,,,, can any body tell me what it's called so I can look on YouTube ,,, or put the link up,,,cheers
  15. Yeh they are expensive,,I use the Mack 3 thingy,,,, but in all honesty they last ages,, I shave my head and beard twice a week,,that's it,, and 1 blade lasts weeks,,, until the mrs does her ................., that blunts the fecker..lol
  16. Baw you c**t,,, just sat here for an hour to catch up with this thread,,,, I've got things to do,,, Been for a race this morning,,, ran 3 killed feck all,,, but I blame, the heavy land,,the stubble being to long,,the hedges to thik ,,the hikers I bumbled in to,,the seeded land being to short,, and my binoculars,, for not spoting the easy ones,,,,
  17. It wasn't a debate,,,, I'm right and that's an end to it....
  18. Thanks for putting the clip up ,, somyimes you get great hares that no dog will catch,,, Did the hare not get away in the cover?,, you can't realy tell from the film

  21. Mines pretty easy,, 3 ,, 12 hour shifts on nights,,,, on my own in an office doing security of a building,,,got a bank of cameras around the building,, can see anywhere on the monitors.. Nothing happens there,,, I have a flat screen telly,, free view box,,, there's a kitchen for Scran ,, tea coffe ect. also got a hook screwed in to desk for knitting nets,,, been known to nod off for a few hours,,,lol ,, very rarely of course.
  22. Public footpaths across fields, belong to the landowner,, so if it's across a farm, you need to ask the farmer,,, nowt todo with a council, The only time a council needs to be asked,,, is if it's across council land,, ie a country park ect
  23. Yep this iPad is a fecker , I'm always clicking the wrong bit
  24. Join the fecking club,,,, You see I don't get that attitude about, it's ok it's in the right spot, but an 8 foot reading is actually about 5 ,, vins the same... But what if it was actually 6 foot and deeper,,,it wouldn't read the depth,,, that's my gripe with the fecking thing. I actually took my old mk1 the other day,,, and as soon as we had found on the search mode on the mk3,,, I got the old grey box out,,, to find exactly how deep.
  25. Ring both ends mate,,, although I did make some up a few years back with sliders one end and a ring at the other,, I have seen nets with no rings at all,, and they still worked,,
