Walked up hare are invariably running away, so you need to shoot/carry a gun and load that would be up to the task if need be. Although I'm not a shooting man ,,, and I stand to be corrected,,, but I wouldnt have thought there was a law saying you can't shoot a hare with a 410,,,, of course it's not the prefred weapon,,,but surly no law

Yep it been done to death... But after my last two ferreting trips in the snow,,, I have the definite answer,, and so does my mate young vin. It's 10z nylon,,, now I know the purists out there like there hemp,, and spun poly,,, but after these last few weeks the 10z rules. Now I make my own nets,, and have yoused evry material,, from hemp to poly , Barbour twine, Irish linin, polished cotton, you name it I have tried it in 25 years of knitting. But that poly over these last outings has stuck together with snow , mud ,and just getting wet through,,, on the other hand the 10z had

I also yoused to youse big safety pins ,, on a bit of webbing,, it's easy to push the point through the hock , can get 5 on each pin,, my mate Nobby of here made some home made pins even better than the ones I had from work. Here's a few pics of strong stuffs carrier,, this was a prototype I got him to make,, it actually a little bit to long,,, and his since shortened them , but this one great for carrying a lot of rabbits,, especially if you use it like in the pics ,, as a yolk, rather than just hanging of one shoulder

To be honest I like to youse a dog lead Made from that 1 inch flat nylon,, the short ones,, I put 3 or 4 in my pocke, they easily hold a dozen. I just leg the bunny, and clip the clip round the loop ... Can't explain in words,,, but I think you get me drift

How the feck did the cops catch you on the land,,,, fucks sake. Yeh to be fair the film was bad as it tackles some of these questions or at least the 'what could we have done' 'was it our fault type ones' 'did we miss something in his personality' but at least that was fiction... the CCTV is another level... Actually the 'questions' i mentioned are not what TOMO had asked lol. The film was more about coming to terms with what their kid had done, while grieving for him and wondering what could they have done... Same theme though.. Don't mater mate, it's all relevant ,,, ile have to look out for that film, cheers

I was wondering if someone would bring up that emotive subject,,, I could tell from SS posts, and likes he was hinting at it,, I also feel the same ,,, but weather I would be able to actually do the deed, I dowt. Prompted by the sad thread about James bulger. Been out with the stinkers today me and vin,,, a late start as I was at work last night till 7 this morning ,,, so by the time we drove up there and got the first set it was 10 am. First set 10 nets down ,, 1 bolt and 4 dug....lol mind only a spit of soil so no drama,,vin went on to another set befor I finished and got a couple out,, so I moved to another , and had 3 bolt and a dig,, just 2 foot,,, so this was the theam of the day,, joining up on some warrens,,, and doing a naibouring warren , to maximise time. Molly was on form today catching a few that missed the nets,, and catching
