Depends on the place and quarry rabbit hunter,,, I loved driving the land when I had a 4x4. Covered lots of ground,, for different quarry, however,, the biggest bags of rabbits I have cought have been on foot,,,, and also the biggest bags I have herd about have been on foot. Of course different locations and different quarry, then driving can be king ,,, but for big bags of rabbits,, then I believ walking to be king

Last week on the bottoms we had cockers running around,, 4 week old things,, I managed to save two befor the dogs got them,, but they nailed 6,, also most the does had young,,,, however up there on the tops,, I didn't see a young one,,, and only 1 doe had young inside,,,it's amazing what a few hundred feet difference makes

Out again yesterday with vin,, nice and early for a change,, not that it made a lot of difference cos after the first warren,, I had a very slow few hours,, with a few deepish digs,, through shale and rocks. The first warren was good to us producing 6, after this we separated and tried to do warrens close by one another,, to maximise our efforts ,, like I say I had a few slow hours whilst vin ,,was rattling them out,,,fecker,,lol I had a lot of digs yesterday ,,one very frustrating one ,, where after 3 foot of rocks,,,the ferret moved,, doh,,, waited 20 mins ,,, and started digging aga
