Thanks for that,,,I spent an hour yesterday searching the net and YouTube ,,looking for info ,,,and found out about the fresh and smelly bait,,,but didn't know about checking so often for prawns ,,so cheers for that.. -

Going up the west coast of Scotland at the end of May,,,so as well as a bit of sea fishing I've been looking on line and see you can buy collapsible lobster pots/traps ,,, So any advise you chaps could give me to aid me catching a few,,,either lobster,,crab,,,and prawns,,,I realise it's a difrent trap for prawns,,,but they seem cheap enough on Amazon ... So any tips regarding particular traps that are worth buying,,,bait used,,placement of the trap... Also any advise on difrent fishing baits,,fishing from the rocks,,have used cockles and mackerel strip in the past with some success

You seen the light Wilf so to speak.The pub up the road.the same people sitting in the same seats or standing in the same place for yrs and yrs. It's like that film ground hog day. A month before giving up I found myself in a different valley pub.strangling feck out of a guy in a packed bar.and throwing stools at the bar head gone.because I thought someone was cracking onto my wife. No good behaving like that. Normal night in them valley pubs,,lol

I agree tc,,,it's them stupid long work hours that need addressing ,,,but I also think they should work weekends,,,, I don't pretend to know much about how the nhs is run,,or even if it's possible,,,but couldn't they work a shift pattern like 3 on 3 off,,,,,,12 hour shifts,,,

Same here widboy,,,I eventually killed mine at over 200 thousand,,,mine wasn't hdi,,and was old,,got about 40 to the gallon,,,,whereas the vectra I had got around 50 to the gallon
