i remember when f1,,,,first cross proper pit bulls,,crossed with a greyhound,,,were only around the 22-25 inch range,,,most bitches being 22-23 inch,,,and dogs a little bigger,,,ive always wondered how these big 27 inch types come from,,,as real pit bulls are not that tall,,,,im going back to the late ,s and early 90's when me and my mates had them....they were fast agile athletec dogs ,,

what is intresting is what happened to the real mutanears from the bounty,,,they loaded up with women from one of the islands,,,then sailed to an island they new was marked incorectly on maps of the time....they all lived there,,,but started falling out with each other,,and killing each other,,, there family desendents,,,still live on today,,,but on a difrent island,,they have a cellebration once a year and all get together

yep i here the same thing mate,,,an old greyhound trainer i used to control moles for told me the same,,,he told me it was especialy true in long distance racers,,,he said it wasnt uncomon for them to not come in season till they finished racing,, when they got a bit of fat on them,,, not sure why a distance animal would be any difrent,,, intrestingly,,female human athaleats that have a low bodyfat,,often dont have periods,,,so perhaps the low bodyfat and fittnes thing it true,,,

what im saying is,,,these yank fellas are known for having coyote killing dogs,,maybe those dogs are just that coyote dogs,,,and for a change went out to run a few hares,,,without knowing all the facts,,,i think its unfair to just say its a cull... and whats wrong with a failed hare dog running a few rabbits,,,you dont have to breed from it..? -

Now there is a useless piece of equipment for hare coursing. have you seen the vids of the russians hare coursing db,,,,they use some working borzio,,,and cross breds with grey and saluki...difrent to our show bred dogs.. -

That doesn't mean they would run that way single handed.Do you think those dogs were working as a pack ??? ..... I know dogs don't always run to the best of their ability when doubled up or ran with more dogs. If my dogs didn't run to their best of their ability because there was competition then they wouldn't be in my yard long ... I would expect my dogs to be working twice as hard if there was another dog competing for game ....... It pains me to say it but I agree with Socks here!
