great little film that....and what an intresting fella an all....allways liked them kelpies and of course owned a lurcher that was 1/4 kelpie...wich you could see in her... I remember traveling round oz back in 06...and seeing them in the backs of pick ups....and even seeing signs at the end of farm tracks with pups either for sale (very cheap) or even free....yes what a cracking breed the kelpie is

with all due respect you could go anywhere and be posher than the vallys .....apart from maybe Greenock just outside Glasgow .... mind some good lads down the vallys...always made to feel welcome down there ....same as north east....I do believe them monkey hangers and geordies to be the friendliest of folk

yes mate pleasley...' intresting fact about the pit that was there max,, think it closed around the mid 80's......whilst it was working I think I'm right in saying it was the last steam powered pit....all the winding gear and some other bits were powered by steam

the reason for my post was not to cause offence or even much discution ....I like to see traditional type things and glad that they are still being made and used ..... but when you think how simple them frog things are... just bar bent in to a spring....it just boggles my mind we didn't think of it... kania is similar as well if you think about it....just the box on the back
