Just for the people who cant pull the rabbits neck, just thought I would explain how to do it. I always used to have trouble pulling them, It just never worked consistantly and I was putting all my strength into it and sometimes it still wouldnt go. What I was doing was gripping the rabbit behind the ears and pulling down. I went out with someone alot more experianced with me who pointed out the mistake. I should have been gripping the rabbit in front of the ears, so that you are gripping around the rabbits head at the base of the front of the ears. When it is done properly like that t

I'm a die hard sceptic of everything lol and to be honest there was nothing in the video that couldnt be faked fairly easy. Was quite interesting but I wont be losing any sleep over it lol. HJ

I like 4ft 6z nylon, cheap, indestructable and snags rabbits like nothing else. I've had them caught on the toe on a few occasions. I do like my spun nylon nets, but they dont catch me any more rabbits and at £3 a net they are abit pricey. ATB, HJ

You really are a no-it-all little jobsworth. Most of your posts come accross like you think your gods gift to ferrets. In the real world shit happens and mistakes get made. Its easy to say what should and shouldnt happen when your behind a keyboard

Thats only if you feed to many, as they are full of protein. They are good food once a week or so but I wouldnt only feed them. Sorry have got to ask, it has been bugging me for ages lol. Is that a dead horse in your avatar?! lol i cant see it very well. ATB, HJ

Well personally I work in coarse fishing 9.5 hours a day, 5 days a week, and I couldnt think of anything worse than going course fishing lol. Used to be obsessed with fishing but its abit of a bus mans holiday now.. Sea fishing and Trout are all that interests me now.

You have to take his programmes with a pinch of salt but they are very entertaining lol. Takes a crazy fecker to piss in a snake skin and save it incase he gets thirsty or piss on a towel and wrap it around his head lol

I am 18 and have been around fishing, ferrets and ferreting since I can remember but have only started on the others in the last 3 years or so. I am full time fishery bailiff/groundsman. I do most country sports, sea fishing, course fishing, fly fishing, air rifle shooting, clay shooting, lamping with a useless mongrel lol, main interest is ferreting with nets and my dog. I also beat for two shoots. I have 2 dogs, a wee demented bedlington mongrel and an ancient paterdale. Looking to get a russel pup in the next few months. HJ

Just bought a single barrel baikal 3" .410 today. Has anyone got one? how do you find them? Its not the prettest thing I have seen lol but hopefully will last a while and do the job. HJ

I have a 50 yard 6z very good longnet cought me plenty of rabbits. I got mine at the midlands last year, top bloke too left his stall to demo setting it etc. HJ

I'm not sure what 1930's ferreting books you have been reading lol but handling a ferret and getting them tame isnt going to put them off biting rabbits. A good worker should be very friendly. Not much use in the field if you cant pick them up without getting bitten. HJ
