  1. They are limited in use as you will get no indication if a fish takes on the drop or moves upwards with bait ect. Shoting up the line is needed for bait presentation and indication.
  2. Ferrets digestive systems are so quick I doubt it would have chance to do anything much even if they did swallow.
  3. looks good the extra space will be good for the kits. How do you find the hitachi drills? atb, HJ

    scopes

I think hawke scopes are good, I always get the cheap hawke HD 3-9 x 50 and never had any problems. I think the nikko sterlings are over priced in comparison with the hawkes...and yes I have tried them both.
  5. I cant really see a point in selling the s200 to replace with a Ultra. Never held one but I have heard the hw100's are very heavy? plus they are too ugly to even consider owning lol Ive got a s410 classic, its more accurate than I am ever going to be and looks great so it ticks all the boxes for me

    permission

Type in 'horse livery yards' and where ever you live i.e. 'horse livery yards sussex' into google, you will get lists of them just knock up a smart email and send it around to all of them. Ive got a couple of bits from doing this. Also if you can contact alot of large gardening or grounds maintenance firms as they often come across clients wanting rabbits controlling or rabbits eating anything they are planting. It benifits them as they are seen to be doing something about the problem and you still get your permission. Ive just got alot of permission this way and its consistant as any new

  9. In that picture it shows to grip behind the ears, thats wrong. It is a hell of alot easier and more effective/humane to grip in front of the ears and give a quick pull down.
  10. I think it changes quite alot in short spaces, around where I live you can be out all day and get 2 or 3 but if you drive a couple of miles either way we get 30+ bags
  11. Feck me charlie you do talk some shit
  12. Dont take this the wrong way, just abit of advice. You will probably have abit more luck if you spend abit more time on the forum so people get to know you and see that your genuine. Youve only been a member a few hours, I just think people will be abit more keen to take you out if you get more known on the forum. ATB and good luck, HJ
  13. Coatesy, most of your posts make you out to be a irritating smart arse trying to be more clever than everyone else. In what way does showing emotion for a dead ferret make you less of a 'man'? Try to answer that directly, not with bullshit.
  14. The best poster of all time was Jim bob Sweeney
  15. Nope I dont ferret in the summer. I like it that way, at the end of the season I am always ready to stop and looking foward to doing something else on the weekends, keeps me keen for the winter too.
  16. I want one but there is a big waiting list fo rmy local ones, annoying as half of them are just sitting there unused but the owners still want to keep them.
  17. Ford fiesta lol. Soon to be a Nissan Vanette
  18. Try 'redtube' keeps me entertained when I am bored
  19. Short arms and banjo's sums it up lol...
  20. Old Trap Collector gave me a nice double stranded irish linnen stop net, great little net its had plently of rabbits in it now. ATB HJ
  21. Ive got lowa munro boots and meindl chainsaw boots, both are as comfy but the chainsaw boots are alot stiffer, better for digging in. I wear the chainsaw boots all day at work and sometimes when out beating/ferreting. Either the lowas or meindls will be fine.
  22. What makes them good pictures? Some dead deer and hares on a landrover bonnet....?... Close up of a rabbits eye, more dead rabbits and a ferret.
