Now I just have to see how long the Police take to process my renewals. They dont expire until May so getting them in with plenty of time as dont want to have to put my guns in storage, which will cost £100 a month ?

Well after 3 1/2 weeks I eventually got my medical questionnaire after constantly chasing it ? £44 for the privilege of ticking a few boxes ?

After a shooting session a few weeks ago in the pouring rain it appears moisture has leaked inside my scope on my .22 ? When I went out the other night shooting I had to blast it with the hairdryer which allowed me to shoot but not perfect. Checked scope just now and fogged up again so looks like a new scope is required. My old scope was a Simmons Whitetail Classic 3.5 -10 × 40 which I like as used it for the past 35 years. My question is anybody got one of these scopes or what can you recommend similar. Must be 40 objective lens as that's the height of my scope rings. Thoughts please ?

Very sad . I'm in the same boat as you Mr Sausage , my empire has shrunk a lot over the years . Me and a mate used to have so much land we were spoilt for choice but through one reason or another I have a lot less now but enough to keep me occupied. Speaking of rabbits , I ventured out last night in search of rabbits . This farm is very remote and usually holds loads of rabbits but last night there wasn't as many as expected but then again it is a lean time of year ....January. I was speaking to the farmer who was hit hard by Storm Arwen , losing his power and broadband for 10 days .

I used to do a lot of rabbitting in the Borders and loved working the terrier marking the dry stone walls and pulling out the rabbits. Now the whole farm was electric fenced to the mains. One day I was trying to extract a rabbit from a wall when my forehead touched the electric fence and sent me flying 6 foot in the air landing on my back , my mate was killing himself laughing but all I could do was cry my eyes out , not through pain but I was in shock. I am now terrified of electronic fences ......oh and I continued and still got the rabbit ?

Spoke to practice manager today about my medical questionnaire and was told again that it's not priority and will have to wait. Getting annoyed now as they have had it 3 weeks and not even looked at it , told her its unacceptable but like banging my head off the wall.

Seeing as it was a lovely frosty morning I had a mooch about for squirrels. Sadly they all stayed in bed as I never saw a single one ? Place was very quiet with very little about.

I chased my GP today for my questionnaire which they have had for 2 weeks , still havent looked at it sorted them it was unacceptable and need it this week. Requested a call from the practice manager .......still waiting ?

Yep the final was below par with some ridiculous misses . I never watch the darts but do enjoy it as I used to play a lot when I was younger ....even had 2 180s ?

Some shocking misses in the match , unbelievable at the highest level but Robertson was a worthy winner. Cant help but think if Ronnie was in the final though he would have destroyed either on their performance tonight.
