    This has the 1 shot zero which should be simple. Move the x and y coordinates on to point of impact and job done ...not for him ?

    He took it off today and put back on ensuring mounts were tight. Still wont zero so going back on Monday , hes really pi$$ed off. Shooting low at 90 yards so adjusted and ended up shooting 7 inches high ??

    Took your advice and looked through a Hawke Vantage today and was very impressed at how clear the scope was. Ordered one today ?

    Great result for the farmer , these were pikies just causing trouble. He has been plagued for years by them , poaching , property damage and making his life a misery. This was the final straw , glad the judge saw sense .

    Seeing as its the end of the pheasant season I went for the last wander in pursuit . Managed to find a few and saw around a dozen squirrels today. Lambs in the fields was a beautiful sight , roll on Spring.

    This is true but they have a high mortality rate with being born so small, easy prey for predators.

    My mate rang today pi$$ed off as hes tried to zero the C50 and it wont zero. Even went to the 100m pipe range today and no good. So hes sending it back ?

    Another season over Stav , you can have a well deserved rest now. Do you keep feeding until the Spring? That was a canny last day seeing as the wind was shocking .

    That's a right bummer [BANNED TEXT] Probably gone to ground somewhere. I hate it when something is lost. Remember a lot of years ago lamping , shot a fox but off it went. Followed a blood trail to an earth , went home and got my terrier and ended up digging it at midnight.

    Popped out last night before the wind really picked up , it was windy but nothing like the 60 mph winds we experienced through the night. I placed out the caller and started with vixen mating call , 5 minutes in and lit up a fox that had come in unseen downwind , as I lit it up it ran off up the field and stopped around 300 yds away . I changed the call to hare distress which seemed to hold its attention so I put a sneak in on it , closing the gap to 140 yds and downwind. Got set up on the bipod and when I looked through the scope I could see the fox was now lying down facing straight at me ,
