  5. 1st time out and shot a fox but needs a laser . No where near as clear as your video... Also couldnt use onboard IR due to glare off mod ....do you get any of that ?
  6. Speaking of the C50 I was out last night with my mate and his to try it out for the 1st time. The weather conditions weren't favourable with the full moon , it was like daylight. My initial impression was that I was underwhelmed , I thought the picture was grainy and not as clear as I would have liked. Unable to use the onboard IR as it just bounced back off his mod. Anyway as it was so light decided to us it without IR. We climbed up on top of the barn and started calling with nothing showing until about half an hour . I had his thermal to spot and he was shooting. I noticed a fox coming in n
  7. I feed the dog nothing but raw meat , venison, rabbit , hare and pheasant.
  8. Cracking pic ? Not be long and you will have her. Forecast crap this weekend again ..I'm doing overtime ?
  9. Brilliant shot ?Just been playing with Google Earth , didnt realise it had the measuring facility , really good ?
  10. As stated above I have bought the Hawke Vantage. My old scope I've had about 35 years so I think I've had my money's worth ??
  11. You only have to name one piece of ground you have permission on but that doesnt limit you to that one farm. There is a notes section to add any other relevant information.
  12. I wasn't with him , but hopefully out with him soon as have a few foxes to sort ??
  13. Well he has eventually got the scope zeroed ....now just need to get out and see what it's like.
  14. Well after being stuck in the house all weekend I was dying to be out mooching , the freezer is low on dog meat for Bert so I decided to look for some rabbits. On arrival at my chosen destination the weather was far from perfect , half moon and clear sky but to be honest I was glad to be out in the cold fresh air. I put in quite a few miles and managed to fill my game bag , shots were a bit farther than normal as rabbits very spooky but made for challenging shooting ..... Bert now fed for a few weeks ?
  15. I love the Spring too when the world is just waking up again and their is the rebirth of new life ? Plus I love getting out at dawn for the roe bucks ?
  16. Aye ......just let me know as dont do much in the summer except pigeons and crows. If you find those jackdaws hitting any drillings in Spring let me know as that's my forte with me secret caller.
  17. Yep ....we must make an effort. Hopefully weather decent.?
  18. You would have thought some retired old boy would jump at it as its going through the week that buggers up the working lads. Give me a shout in the summer time and we can have a bash ???
  19. Wish these 40mph winds would pi$$ off...good for nothing . Fancy next weekend if weather is better ?
  20. Just spoke to him and think we've sussed it. He originally zeroed at 40yds , which is input in scope. Then when he changed it to zero at 100yds never changed the distance on the scope menu......doh. So will try again tomorrow and I reckon it will be right ??
  21. I'm confused as no clicks involved just place little red cross on point of impact or am I missing something?
  22. I am just wondering if he never saved it correctly as no saved message was displayed. Told him to try again and see if saved message appears ....if not maybe software problem.
  23. How did you zero yours David ? On base mag etc..
  24. I dont understand how mag makes any difference....the whole point of 1 shot zero is move the reticle on to point of impact....and job done. Hes tried 3 times to zero using 40 rounds and no further forward .
