  2. Cant fault the accuracy of the T3 mate out of the box as you know , dont know about the Rem though. You wont be disappointed with the Tikka !!
  3. I was out rabbit shooting the other night and shot this doe crossing a grass paddock with its mouth stuffed full.As I looked through the scope I could see it was carrying straw but on closer inspection noticed its mouth stuffed full with its belly fur , obviously ready to line its nest before giving birth. I have never witnessed this in nearly 30 years of rabbit shooting, has anyone else witnessed this? I don't know how it was able to breath as its mouth was literally stuffed full!!
  4. Not a problem at all. Shot all of our 6 species with my .243. Just shoot straight and you will be OK

  10. Last Thursday saw me making the annual 300 mile trip down to Wilts to see my good mate Foxdropper for a bit of stalking. On arrival FD picked me up at the B & B and we headed straight out , Rabbitcontroller accompanied us.The weather wasnt great , a bit misty but we ventured on until after climbing a farm gate , RC spotted a muntjac around 150 yards away in some hawthorns. I quickly dropped to the floor and sent a 100 grn .243 which poleaxed a small buck on the spot. Cheers RC for spotting the munty , I was much obliged We then proceeded to another piece of ground where on last
  11. Nice to meet you Matt, it certainly was a great weekend. It certainly was quite strange me and FD watching that chicken walking straight towards you
  12. Depends on cash. Sako or Tikka.
  13. Good shooting Matt. Next it will be Leica rangefinding bins, Wind meter and Exbal to really get into long range shooting. It has to be seen to be believed what can be achieved. My personal best is a 500 yard goat . My mates PB is a hare at 888 yards and that was with his 1st shot from a cold barrel

Its incredible that at this time of year you are still bagging plenty. We cant find any at all ..
