    They all do the job mate it's just a matter of personal choice and experience. .22/250 though packs a hell of a punch ? wish you would straighten those crosshairs it would really annoy me ?

    I've got a .22/250 I never use so could go on there and be dedicated for fox.

    It looked awful on his last video but he explained that's not the picture he sees through the scope.

    Nope, I'm 53 and have a full head of hair. Think it's only the handsome chaps that are like this ??

    I shoot every fox I see ( not that I see many )? to preserve grey partridge , lapwing and curlew numbers all of which are present on my grounds.

    He wasnt going to shoot them just mentioned they are there, I thought they might be mandarin but keeper will know best.

    Strange I am using the new Winchester subs and had noticed a few rounds very noisy sounding like high velocity . Accurate enough though.

    Anyone ever seen any of the above , my mate has been invited to a shoot next weekend and the keeper told him there are loads on his ground.

    Was going to venture out last night on the foxes but felt tired and couldn't face the 120 mile round trip so change of plan and went bunny bashing.On my way there noticed the 3/4 moon was very bright ? never mind glad of a walk out. Bunnies are getting a bit spooky now but some still sat obligingly. Canny night with some bonus longtails..?

    May I ask why .270 especially unmoderated when there are much better options . I fired a lightweight Winchester.270 once and it was bloody awful , wouldn't have it given ?
