  1. What did you shout " Here boy come and get it " ??
  2. See you're enjoying the Gif maker ? Christ did you rustle a takeaway box for that one to be so close ?
  3. Cheers Stav , will take you up on that , very kind Sir.
  4. My best foxing ground is in Scotland but unfortunately not allowed over the Border, can't wait til its opened up again .
  5. No foxes left on any of my grounds , need some new permission. Glad I've got plenty rabbits to keep me busy through the Summer. Never heard a single fox bark this Winter .
  6. Yep not much happening at the minute. I've just been around my local farm and once again no foxes to be seen , been like that all year . It's as if there has been a holocaust. Farmer said a few deer knocking about though ? Be concentrating on the roe for next few months then onto the bunnies.
  7. Looks like you have another .Imagine eating your mates face ?
  8. Up to 10c , glad as want rid of all this snow and ice. Sick of freezing temperatures, hopefully we get a great Spring ?
  9. I ventured out this afternoon too , -2 on arrival but wind chill made it more like -10 ?. So I decided to stick to the woods out of the wind and it was actually quite nice. Followed quite a few fox tracks and tried a couple of calls with no luck. After 3 hrs I was a bit tired and was heading back to the car. Passing a spinney I glassed it and just caught an ear of a roe twitch in a bramble patch. Up on the quads ready by which time it had taken a few steps forward and was looking straight at me, crosshairs just below its chin and job done ?
  10. Its certainly Baltic today mate , walked the dog this morning and my face was hurting in the wind , wind chill is -10 today ? Hopefully the fox turns up sharpish for you tonight.
  11. 4 dogs is disgraceful in my opinion .Should be 1 dog only. And still didnt catch it ?
  12. You've never seen adders swimming well I have and I can tell you they are very efficient at it. I don't know how my mate picked it up but it ended up in my bait box , I never picked it up just tipped it out of the box into the reservoir. Every adder I have seen has been docile , I suspect the wildlife expert who was bitten was probably pissing off the poor adder as I think they would probably rather not get involved in a skirmish.
  13. Good for them , freedom of choice. Mind you the English bowed down to the Scots in the game ??
  14. Envious that you got out , all week here it has been snow , rain and fog ? Freezing easterly winds today and snow again ?
  15. Scotland totally outplayed England, they played with passion and wanted to win whereas England never turned up .Well done the Jocks ?
  16. Nothing unlikely about it , it was an adder , found a few in my time usually warming up in the sun , this is when they are quite lethargic from what I've seen. You are wrong when you say they hate water , often found near water and are brilliant swimmers as I have witnessed.
  17. Was it shot in Ireland ?
  18. Defo adder , zigzag pattern down it's back about 2 ft long. Seen a few in my time up here , dont think we get grass snakes.
  19. Plenty in Hamsterley Forest near us. I remember another time fishing at Kielder reservoir , one of the lads put an adder in my bait box , luckily it had a clear lid and I spotted it. We placed it in the reservoir, they are great swimmers.
  20. Dont like snakes either. I remember once roe stalking in Northumberland, I was crawling through the grass when suddenly I was confronted with an adder , face to face. I didnt know how quick to retreat ?
  21. Sir Tom epitomizes everything British not some black , gay , snowflake vicar ...... Christ I really do despair with this country.
  22. He bought one for £1425 so a good price
