  4. This is the honest truth, there was a pub in the post of Blyth called the commercial, and ladies of the night would frequent, once you made eye contact with them or gave them a nice smile they would cross their legs and show you the sole of their shoe, on here was the their price, which was always around 7/6p in them days, a days wage for me..
  5. I was just about to say that it was a sandwich tern (honestly), its the only specie with a white body and black beak, all the other white species have red beaks (or yellow for the little tern) Yeah Taffy sure you were.. you know your terns

  16. Moths Im not into, but always been into birds woodies can be an enigma, get close to them sometimes easily, but point anything at them and they dont like it..so sometimes a difficult bird to photgraph..well dont matie, good pics

  18. Sorry thick fingers pressed the button twice, you know what they say about men with thick fingers well its not true...
  19. As above matie, unsharp mask for a starting point, set the top box to about 150-200, middle box to between 1,5 and 3 max, and the bottom box 0-2,,but its a matter of choice and taste. All wildlife photos will require some sharpening to enhance them, but, the skill is not too much..if you see a halo around your subject you have over sharpened, and another negative is by too much sharpening you will get more noise..If your now using a powerful program like CS and you are doing some post processing, set your camera to a low sharpening value, its 0-9 in the D300 I set mine to 1 or 2..if your not
  20. Ive got some from the USA, Has written on them Miller forge, they are mint...
  21. Its common kmowledge that deerhounds have a shorter working life than other crosses. What a load of f*****g crap..imo
