    Thanks for the comments everyone. No flash McTut..60th sec at f11..one of the only sharp images in that sequence I have darkened the background to help make the bird stand out more

    Dont usually keep images that dont show all of the bird, but for some reason I kept this one, and it has grown on me..what do you think?

    Good shots on a bird that can be difficult to get close to. Yes I agree they are a littler (warn possibly) I know I said to set wb to cloudy, try it on auto, A-B A2 and C-D 0 in the white balance sub menue, that camera is one of the best on the market a professional camera, the auto settings are really good. If your shooting in RAW it dosnt make any difference anyway, adjust it in photoshop to what looks bast for you, I love a bit warmth to my pics, but when there are loads of yellows, greens etc as there are on these pics, thay can take on an over saturated or too warm appearance..     I NEVER take anyone elses dogs out to work, its just not the same, but, I have let some friends take some of mine over the years..I had a dog called Pup, she was 11 months and had quite a few rabbits for that age, 15 was the most in one night, lent her to someone any she killed 34..a bitch I had called Ruby got her first fox when out with another guy, so I missed that one too, important things that I would loved to have been part of..but I lent them and I cant change that now..Now, I dont have friends so I wouldnt be lending any dogs out
