Bred a few both lessers and mealies, great birds to have and to breed, can get so tame and trusting..never had any problems with them, cage bred them mainly, although in my younger days I bred them in flights.
I agree........... absolutely stunning picture.........dunno how you do it but wish i could take shots like that.......well done......!
Thanks for the kind comments..but there are some excellent wildlife photographers out there..way in front of anything I have,,
Cheers matie, I had found out since my original post, thanks...they dont touch them when they firs come over, when rowan is plentiful..the group here were feeding on these in the morning and in the afternoon, then in the evening they switched to the live stuff..amazing on Good Friday taking pictures of waxwings and watching swallows at the same time..
Hi Dan, I think Ive just recieved an email about this, I will get back to you via email ASAP, until then there are a number of people on here that maybe able to assist..
Lurcher x lurchers, mainly bred down from deerhound crosses, with a touch of collie in (not enought to spoil them) the youngster had a bit of bob tail collie in her breeding,,no whippet, no saluki, no bull...
Well done matie, a bird I like to specialise in taking images of, any pic in daylight of these guys is an achievement, get a daylight flying shot, and youve done really, really well..
Like the dipper, I make a wish list each year, dipper is on the list for 2011, havent seen one yet, but trying..to tell you the truth, aint got any of my wish list this year up to now, but, time yet..
