    Remember him pulling up in a brand new Subaru at a show with personal plates on , LGF , you could tell tell that he had just stuck them on top to come to the show in , sure enough , on my way home , theres Len , in a lay by , removing the plates , off what was probably a car he was test driving for the weekend , as said , a real character !

    From the foxes point of view , he probably wasnt happy being bashed off the ground nor would he have been happy being ripped up by two bull xs , the end result was always going to be the same ! As plenty have said , at least they were out doing it .

    I recently had a letter telling me to keep off Staffs police telling me to keep off land where I am genuinely walking on public footpaths , as someone saw me and told them " they were concerned a rural crime was about to be committed "!! I wouldnt mind but theres been no quarry on there for years , I only use it to give the dogs a run round , I even had my car pulled on M6 as its flagged now as linked to rural crime . This is the same police force , who when i caught a burglar then refused to go to court to testify , as they had dropped the burglary charge to trespass , threatened to charge

    It was in our paper few weeks ago , lads were from Stoke , got done for possession of weed aswell , its red hot round there , good thing is though you can move freely everywhere else as they only patrol Cannock Chase !

    Bird , I presume the bull x fell grey you mentioned was mine , yes he was a good dog , superb semi broken coat , head like a bucket , with awesome jaw power , he would face anything , pre ban he pulled all types of deer , even held big stags down , never had a dog with such prey drive , he would catch then kill very quickly then just drop it and walk away as if he was just doing a job !!! I can relate to the stock problem as both his parents when aged 7/8 had to be pts as they started killing stock and pet dogs for no apparent reason .     i was talking to him at Hall Green one night in the kennels after his Derby winner Farloe Verdict had been beat at 1/3 after missing the break from trap 3 and got smashed up on 3 or 4 times in the race , he hadnt wanted to run her but Hall Green had asked him to as it was on Sky sports , a bloke shouted to him "" Didnt run well tonight did she Charlie " ? , to which he replied " Neithor would you if i kicked you in the bollocks on every bend , now piss off ! What a legend !

    Thank God , thought it was me ! Places that usualy hold plenty by me are empty , saw 2 the other night , time before that saw nothing , as been said , combination of mixy , summer hunters , shooters I think , still we must keep trying .

    Once when me and the lad were caught by a bunch of keepers , I asked them to cut me a bit a slack and let it go as i could lose my license . job , etc , they laughed and said they hoped i did , they were not so smug when i told them my lad was only 15 and they had to have my permission to video him , nor when i suggested they were enjoying filming young boys , after a bit of " wheeling and dealing " the coppers let us go with a warning , yes , we were in the wrong to start but to take a mans living off him over a hare is ridiculous !

    I dont personally know " labs" but I remember when we had our bullx stole , she and her husband offered a pup out of their bitch , free , differant to some wankers on here who offered to sell us a pup ! Ive learnt to make my own mind up ,in the lurcher world , not listen to tales , .

    Im not doubting that he was used in the breeding of several top coursing lurchers , but can someone please explain to me how a dog who still holds the record for races won , and they were all top quality races , whose owner turned down 100k for him in the early 80s ,came to be used on saluki / lurcher bitches . His trainer , George Curtis even had 24hr security on his kennel ,I saw him run , live , several times , his pace and stamina were superb , if I remember right his owner was a businessman who didnt need the cash , hence he never sold him , so Im interested in how he , and by who , did h

    played moseley mate , when there pack were the only players full time in the team. hand on heart that is the hardest scrum ive ever hit, hard mothers. your boy play first team mate, they are well known for there strength in the pack, good luck any way. He goes into the Colts in September , then they decide to offer you a contract after that or not , but yes , Moseley are a good standard at all ages , thanks mate .

    My son boxes and over the years ive seen loads of gypsy kids turn up at the gym and get hammered ,yes ,there is some who can fight but its a myth that they are all hardmen , most are unfit and dont last a minute in the ring .
