Spot on Gnash ,im not proud of some of my past , but i thank prison for two massive things in my life , in 88 in jail i used to watch lads out lamping the land near the jail , i came out and got my first lurcher , then in 97 inside i got back into playing rugby , passed my coaching badges , later , got my son into it , he now represents his county and ironically his coach is one of the prison gym screws who i got on well with .There are criminals in all walks of life , some have learnt some never will , but you can take some positives out of a bad time .

Dec88 - June 89 ,Winson Green - what a shithole - slopping out , showers once a week , only out of cell to be fed , then , Aug 97 - Jan 99 , Blakenhurst , Featherstone , missed 18 mths of my lad growing up , mom passed away during this period , the older you get the harder it gets .

Basically if you feed more calories than the needs she will use the extra to store as fat. The amount of muscle she has will depend on the amount and type of exercise linked with her genetic make up, there is no super food that builds muscle. Time and exercise will allow her to develop the musculature that she requires if she's fed a sensible diet either commercial, home made or a mixture of both. This is genuine , mix some lard and some neutral boot polish togethor and rub it on , a traveller showed my dad years ago , they use it when their trotting horses have knicked theirselves on the legs , we had a whippett , badly scarred, tried it and the fur was back in 3 days .

Can we stop going on about " these sort of books give ammo to antis " , its such a load of crap ! Antis know all what we get up to , and what they dont , they will make up to sensationalise it to the public.!As for the articles on deer poaching , so what , it does happen , mentioning pitbulls , so what , thats gone on aswell , Darcy said he was going to make the books true to life , for years people moaned that Plummers books were bullshit , now some moan Darcys are too factual , try getting out and doing abit instead of criticising .! -

But thats my whole point,what is the gift it takes to ride a horse ?....how much skill does it take ?....im not being a prick saying its easy or it dont take any skill....im sure it does.....but come on,do you really think a skill such as Ali was blessed with can be compared with the skill a jockey may have....i admit im probably quite ignorant to exactly what is needed to be a great jockey.....but i cant help thinking its not on the same level skill wise as many other sports. Yep cant argue with anything youve said.....the only thing i think your slightly overlooking is this...hard work,dedication,sacrifice etc is great,but ANYONE can do that....it doesnt equate to being a great sportsman.....great sportsman are BORN not MADE.......if it was just a case of who worked the hardest or who wanted it most then natural skill and talent could be overcome by hard work and dedication......and as you know,they cant !.....I dont believe any great sportsman become great without some kind of gift they were born with,thats what puts them on a different level......that gift d

GOVERMENT CUTTING THE FUNDING FOR SPORTS IN SCHOOLS

Not all kids are academically gifted , and if they have a gift for a sport it should be encouraged at school .My son attends a comprehensive school in a city and it is football orientated , but despite this he is a county rugby player and has to fight for his place against privately educated lads who play rugby 3-5 days per week , the sons of the people who decide to make these cuts no doubt attend these type of schools so will be unaffected by cuts . I voted this lot in but it seems to me they are putting the boot into the folks who hoped they would help out . -
Thats exactly my point....your lad is dedicating himself to his sport,i know all about the dedication it takes to prepare for a fight,make weight etc etc....i dont miss it one bit and i never competed at the highest level of my sport....so thats a dedication you have to make merely to compete....at any level.....you see my point ?....some of us would train and train and train with total dedication,if we didnt possess the natural talent and skill in the first place there is a point we can reach and go no further.......the true greats of sport have immense natural talent meaning that same dedica

Normally you speak a lot of sense zigzag dan,but on this occasion your way off......being a succesful sportsman is as much about raw talent and skill as it is hard work.....yes it takes a lot of dedication to reach the top in any sport,but getting up at the crack of dawn does not qualify a man as a great sportsman........to be a great sportsman and reach the top of your sport requires as much determination and dedication as it requires skill and talent......now while i dont claim to know much about the gee gees im not sure how much skill and talent is involved but i wont be ignorant and presum

McCoy should have won it years ago ,15 time champion jockey , up at crack of dawn , eating a bit of fish or chicken somedays , nothing else , jogging in a sauna with your clothes on to lose weight , cant compare it to throwing darts really can you ?

Does the Lincolnshire Constabulary only recruit coppers who are anti coursing ? Here in Wolves , our police love nothing more than drawing their batons on football lads , harrassing motorists , etc , i can run hares and see the Molineux and the town off the land , but the chance of a copper coming out to me is very remote , seems to me the problem is that the heirarchy of Lincolnshire Police have made it a priority instead of tackling more serious crime .

A few months ago i watched a smackhead trying doors and windows in the street , i went out and got him , the old bill came and later on in the week they charged him with tresspassing on someones garden !!! I refused to go to court as the charge was stupid and i was threatend with a more serious charge than the burglar , after all of this he was fined £100 !! Its because of things like that that i will never stop coursing , because the laws are a joke , can someone tell me why you get a driving ban for coursing ? , if you do an armed robbery you dont get banned , if you raped someone you dont

Ive had some top nights out at the boxing ,seen Bruno , Hatton , etc but I still watch the tape of the first Benn v Eubank fight , toe to toe all the way , you can see them both wincing in pain at every blow , in commentry , Jim McDonald keeps repeating "This is a war " ! Two tough , hard men .

They cant touch you its come onto your property , a few years back i had a bullgry x welsh hound gry he did loads that used to come into the yard of our shop premises , sad thing was , the owners used to come in the shop and ask my dad to put up a "lost " poster !!!
