Burnley is my home town too Bob. The once nice part though and the encroachment doesn’t stop! We used to go down to the arcade (forget the name) near to M&S, Angels and VIPs to buy fags after school and have a ruck with the Duke bar/Stoneyholme lot. Used to fight side by side with Sikh lads against them.

Burger Dome infront of North pier was a hot spot for these young girls hanging around! We’d pass it after a night out walking home and they’d offer to suck ya dick for a kebab. Tell me how you could hear that and not make assumptions about motives and character.

Grooming, rape and kidnap was known to go on, as I’ve said on a previous post. However these girls were actively hanging around. Laughing and joking and getting buggered for a burger or a Pavarotti! It came across (apart from the other certain cases) that they were happily complicit. There were take aways (one owned by a friend) who wouldn’t allow these girls anywhere near their establishments because they would be flirting etc infront of customers and putting them in a position they had no taste for.

I’m glad me and the mates never ate there. The majority of customers would’ve been from Funny Girls drag bar opposite. I’m pretty sure but can’t be certain that I fitted blinds in her family home on Grange. Paid for by ITV because they were doing a piece about the two sisters who had a race to get pregnant at 13 & 14 respectively. No carpets, piss and shit everywhere from puppies. I lived around the corner, literally. They refurbed the take away and a couple of days later the whole thing was forensic tented and they tore it apart. My daughter went to nursery less than 50yards away during this time Grange park… what a shit hole. I could tell a mountain of my own first hand stories.

This was known about in Blackburn over 25 years ago. Fuuckers were scared to deal with the problem. So a good friend of mine and his family took matters into their own hands.
