    the vet dats close to me dont kno much bout dogs i dont think his great anyway he gave her an injection n said its an injury to the muscle i told him if it woz she would yelp if u pressed it or squeezed it he just said keep an eye on it n if it gets bigger come back,im gonna take her to a vet that does a friends greyhounds for him its a spin away so til be the wkend,thanks for askin ill keep you dated on it What a clown that vet must be, do yourself and your dog and favour and never visit the eejit again.     So long as its frozen for a few weeks, it'll be sound. I don't tend to buy pork to feed my dogs on but if I happen to come across some that would other wise go in the bin I sling it to the dogs. Just leave it freezing for a month to be safe.

    Thats true, it doesnt do the dogs any harm, but they don't get the full benefit out of the meat/poultry etc as what ever it is you're cooking will lose nutrients moisture and fat through being cooked. There's no point to cooking a dogs meal, if they've evolved to eat raw meat fat and bone.

    Looks a nice dog to me, nice and racey but with it being a quarter bull it will hopefully have a bit more gameness to it than a lot of Whippets are reputed to have. Best of luck to your mate with it.

    I know they don't need me to cook it mate but like i said i coundn't help but feel the amount of worming i had to do was not good for there insides,would prefer to feed raw all the time and do with chicken carcasses but the rest i cook.I get all sorts of off cuts from a couple of butchers so they get a variety of meats and i haven't seen any drop in condition since cooking it,just have to worm less. Just freeze the food mate before you feed it the dog, it's best to stock up in frozen food for the dogs so the new stuff goes to the back and the stuff thats been in there for a while can be

    Milbamax is what I use, they're bang on and very cheap if you ask me. For 1 terrier it cost about £11 for the year! and it deals with everything.

    They're fine to feed your dog mate, My terriers eat a lot of raw rabbit. I freeze the rabbits before I feed them for a few weeks, as I usually have quite a few stocked up in the freezer. I just defrost them and then sling them a quarter of the rabbit along with a bit tripe, heart, liver or mince beef, all depends what I've got in or what they've had the day before. Just make sure you gut them, some people leave the skins on them, but I skin mine and feed them whole (bones as well, essential for calcium). All the best with it.

    Raw is the best way to feed a dog. How can a dog possibly be better off feeding on anything other than what they have evolved to eat? A good varied raw diet is the best mate, Try it, and then let us know what you think. Bones fat and meat! My dogs are so much healthier looking and stronger due to raw feeding. I had the terriers on dry food for a few weeks and they dropped weight, they didn't have as much energy and their coats didn't look as healthy.     ? If she is on mainly a raw diet, then she is already mainly on a BARF diet mate. BARF stands for - Biologically Appropriate Raw Food or Bones And Raw Food Do a search on this forum for raw feed and/or BARF and you'll find loads of excellent info. Best of luck with the bitch mate.

    It's a load of old cobblers IMO, being talked up by the government so they can charge extra taxes for this that and the other. When the industrial revolution began the carbon levels actually dropped! so what does that tell you? Not only that, when you think about it, 75% of the earths surface is covered in water and uninhabitable by us, that leaves 25% land. We probably don't even inhabit a half of that so how can we be causing such a big problem?     I seen a good few dosed up with it pretty bad by us when we had the real cold weather. They were f*cked, real lethargic and crawling with fleas. Introducing that disease was a mistake.
