the theory that money has ruined the border terrier doesn't stack up relative to the springer spaniel which is still the best working gun dog although it is KC regd and pups change hands for big money. the difference between a terrier and a springer is the springer has kept its working core through the field trials. whereas the majority of borders bred will never see much more than the sofa. is there any point in trying to preserve a specific type of terrier when there are so many different working terriers, surely it would make sense to breed worker to worker of any terrier be it pat

I had 8 rats today with bitch, i tried to video some action but it is very difficult on your own, my lad edited the bits i got which are not great but at least they are something. The rat in the bait box had nested in it and didn't want to come out to play.

She had another 4 today, 3 flushed out of the machinery in photo (which i flushed 60 out of on Tuesday) and one she marked in rubble. I stand on the end of the machine (on the white bit) and bounce the whole contrapition, its amazing sometimes how long the rats will hold before flushing.

spot on mate. just thought there, 108 rats with ONE dog! thats alot of rats!! She should of had a load more when she got the 10 because i flushed about 60 out of an old piece of machinery. I didnt bother to block there escape routes because there is usually only 1 or 2 rats in it. If i had planned it out or had someone else with me it would of been a massacre.

Bitch is now 12 months old and broke the 100 mark with these on the photo. She's had 108 now.
