    I searched online, and found a youtube video on using an onion on the gun... But..It worked I rubbed it all over with a good juicy onion, let it dry and done the rust with aluminium foil...Top job The woman came in and saw all the tin foil all over the kitchen, a strong smell of oil and thought I had taken up crack smoking and gone mad with a gun. But it works

    Hello, Do anyone know is it possible to remove light rust from the outside of a shot gun barrel. I was shooting at the weekend and left my shot gun in the slip overnight and it was slightly damp, It was in my rush to get in and get back out of the house again as I was late... I took it out yesterday and it looked a little unhealthy... Ive tried a little WD40 and that has cleaned it up a little, but there is more it wont shift...If theres nothing to shift it should a gun smith be able to re do it? Thanks

    too true goldy mate... chipper my cousing and he doesnt have a bad word to say about anyone.. he puts alot of man hours into his dogs.. hes always has had qaulity dogs because of his dedication and makes sure he breeds quality.. hes a man who takes pride and joy in hes hounds and everything else he does.. top man

    I use a bottle with a gelatine strip in it and it doesnt freeze A garlic clove with work too, but less appealing to the ferrets...

    A ban shouldnt really come into in these weather conditions...Anyone with any respect for anything would leave them alone.

    I bought a pair of Bamboo carbon only last week....Today I walked the dogs through the snow for a couple of hours in them, and they leaked...Bad for the price.

    yes you do need a license and need to be 18 before you can hold a license for any firearm. you could possiablly get your dad to get an air rifle and shoot alongside him. You dont need to be 18 to own a firearm, I dont know for sure about Air Rifles in NI, but you can have a shot gun under 18 on a surpervised permit I think its called.

    Brian Wilson from the Greens brought about the Proposed Hunting Bill...but failed miserably. The CAI did well in getting information out and pushing support from the MLA's - It was easy to see from the outset which way the vote would go, Anyone I spoke to from any party had support for hunting. But they arent stopping there, there is an ongoing Bill aimed at putting the Irish Hare on the permanently protected list by the greens. If everyone puts in the effort as they have done with the Hunting Bill, there is no reason why it too cannot be defeated.

    I know the ones you mean, they look like solid plastic, but there hollow light aluminium or similiar dipped in plastic. I used them on a net for a couple of seasons a few years back and they worked well, as long as the ground was sandy. Hard ground or frozen sandy ground saw the end of them...

    I have 2 Pro Master Long Net Baskets for sale. I bought them recently, and only tried one out and find them a little awkward to use compared to my old ones. I paid £90 delivered for the pair. I will take £35 each posted, or £60 for both posted.

    Made from cardboard disguised as leather...Cheap boots are a complete false economy...By the time you go through two or three pairs, you could have easily bought some good ones that would have still been going without any hassle.

    A strip of gelatine, or a clove of garlic in the bottle stops it freezing. But the garlic stinks the bottle out and Id say its not too tasty for the ferrets either! The gelatine always works well for me.

    On Tuesday 16th November the Green Party's only MLA in Northern Ireland, Brian Wilson, introduced a Hunting Bill into the Assembly. Effectively, this Bill, should it pass, would cease all hunting with dogs in Northern Ireland. This includes beagle packs, foxhounds, harrier packs and individuals hunting with terriers. An offense will be committed by anyone who hunts a wild mammal with a dog, any person who allows this activity on their land, or allows their dog be to used for this activity. It should not need pointed out how damaging this Bill would be to the rural way of life in Northern

    Think they call that a "McNAB" , then there is a "ROYAL McNAB" thats the 3 you mentioned plus sleep with a virgin all in 1 day ...... heard that on a programme yrs ago on a keeper in the highlands called Charlie Pirree (i think), the thought of sky divin nearly brings on a heart attack for me :sick: What if you caught 3 rabbits and slept with a Milf? What do they call that?
