Thats a top result Bigbulls.... Breeding been a bit weired here this year with all the birds going down late, One Gos layed her first egg in May and usually lays second week of aprill and a Pere delayed things by a good two weeks compared to the year before, I have birds doing just clutches of three and others that never came in at all properly ..... It could be the late cold winter or me moving I have no idea..... If I ring my Harris's earley to save going in again I use some Micropore tape! just roll it round the ring so it creates a cone shape towards the foot, as the birds leg

Just found this Seffa when you asked the question a while back! perhaps someone else can add their experiences... Jasper Click Here

Do you mean a rotating Ring Perch! Hunter? if you have any plans fire them over in a PM if you prefer or blast it on here ...... Jasp

I'll certainly be leaving them alone fairly shortly when they are in Max breeding condition, Our main sporting quarry should have a right to a break expecially when they are breeding, I hate shooting Rabbits and finding a gut full of youngsters or a Milky doe. I know at the moment there are virtually plague proportions of Pigeons and Rabbits in certain area's but I can remember when Starlings and Sparrows was in Palgue proportion and look whats happend to them!! somtimes its good to let them breed to preserve some sport for future years..... I love the old Springers! don;t get me wrong the Pre Charge is a nice bit of kit but the springer gives me a buzz when a good shot is pulled off... when I moved here I fished out a old Webley Vulcan and gave it a little work out! it was also in .22 but never mind it still knocked them dead and layed a few head of quarry to rest .... atb Jasp

Hello Shay I had a Falcon Raptor Lighthunter in 1999, it was a nice gun and basically the same as the FN19 but this one came with a couple of 8 shot Mags and a Skeleton stock. It was a good accurate rifle as expected with all Pre charge guns! it was light but I have to say the brass bolt mechanism was a bit iffy and felt rough when the grease started to disapeer, the blueing was also nice and rich but would soon start to rust even with the slightest condensation, I also didn't like the tiny 0 Ring breach washer fitted into the Barrel on my .177 aswel as only getting around 65 shots max....

A redtail is a lovely birds Danny to get some real hands on experience , a Harrishawk is fine too but tend to come on much quicker than the average Redtail when being Manned/Trainned. its not a problem though mate as alot of people who take up Harris's move onto different birds such as a Gos without any problems where as other will struggle, Basically its all down to the individual falconer and there grey matter . most of it is common sense to solve alot of issues that come before you when handling a bird. The Redtail will challenge you more than the average Harris expecially in the mann

What a laugh! some clowns who admin these sites don't live in the real world, they must sit at home in a total swear free environment or just regular church go'ers ...... I had a simular problem on another forum and just told them to go and f**k themselves because they are a load of cock sucking tossed off wankers and a total bunch of c**ts and nothing but b*****ds, a f*****g load of shit stabbing f*****g wankers ..... as you can see saying naughty words like bollocks is a no no on here too .... I'm sure there'll be a few come up for sale in the North West laster in the breeding season Rich. Spars go down pretty late compared to alot of other popular breeding birds, you'll generaly see Spars up for sale about the time of Wimbledon week... Jasper

Total shite shooting!! no excuses for the guy he took on a shot that wasn't Guranteed . he popped it when he saw it wounded but didn't really have to film it to improve his willy size. its funny a Rabbit came at me the other day out of the bushes and boy was it scary! good job I dropped it and wounded it or it could have done someone a damage ......... They'll soon be bringing out The Yellow Pages for Hunting Forums at this rate ! I'm shortly in the process of binning some which I hardly go on... far too many Duplicate posts going from one forum to another for my liking, you get to the stage where you think "Havn't I read this somewhere before".... It was her I caught it off Tony , I'm not sure weather to blame the postman. the milkman, the farmworkers or the gamekeepers on the estate, they all seem to be visiting the house regular whenever I go shooting....... I'm certain they won't last long in my Underpants ! I drop them on the floor and they find their own way to the Linnen basket ..... atb Jasp

I can see you having a Red Letter day soon Tony and making up for lost time . I have to admit Patience is somthing I lack alot of these days compared to when we used to go Decoying and sit for Hours, I should say I probably sit/stand in the same position now no more than 40 mins before moving on! its certainly not the best tactic in the game I must admit but at the moment I have Ants in my Undies and can't keep still long .... A good few years back I borrowed a book of a pal about Old indian tracking techniques! it was a cracking read with most thing smacking me in the face as they was so

There was a genuine one on youtube a while back of a guy dropping 2 Magpies sitting side by side on a path with a .17HMR..... Jasper

Nice one Lads that was one good mission accomplished . Looks like you have all the points in the bag Davy I can't get out now as I'm flat out getting stressed here , had the gun out the day before yesterday and downed a Pigeon but the guns stood inactive since ...... cracking Bunny bashing lads Jasp

A pal had a male Kestrel a good few years back flying it on a playing field when it Ignored him completely and dropped low skimming the ground to the end of the field and litteraly bound to a Magpie near the back fence, it didn't hold it for long but it had the balls to go for it..... I would think the poor old Kestrels have found it hard over this winter and had to turn their attention to other quarry... Jasper

Not got one myself mate but its top of my shopping list the next time round, I picked one up and had a quick look at one in the local Gunshop and loved what I saw! it was too late by then as I had already brought a gun but a pal down here is thinking of Investing in one .... The guy Zini on the forum is who you want to talk to, he's had some stunning results with his R10 in .22 Calibre! I'm sure he'll fill you in when he sees this post.... Jasp

Nice Pictures and write up!! Top Bombing Jack . Looks like some nice land there to Mooch round, a old Sheep carcasss like that could well bring in the odd Carrion crow for a feed or Magpie which provide some sport, it looks like a few things have had a pull at it aswel includeing Charlie.... Jasp

Good shooting Hullhunter Look like you've had some good sport there pal , thats a few less tree rats to do Damage.... Jasper

Outstanding write up and Pic's Phantom. Just goes to show how lethal a Air Rifle can be when the shot is placed bang in the kill zone ....... Jasp

That will be a cracking read Phantom , I was surprsed the other day when I cut up one of the defrosted Rabbits shot a while back with Bisley Mags, it was struck virtually behind the front legs through the ribs! I was surprised to find a small exit wound near the other side of its shoulder.... One thing I can say about the Bis Mags is they certainly carry some energy over some distances compared to the ligher pellets.... ATB Jasper

You took the words out of my mouth mate I was planning on somthing this summer Davy like a good BBQ and all night drink session, the caravan is 5 berth which I have used in the past when people have stayed over so this could be handy too ...... Dogfight off the other forum came round the other week to pick a Gun up, I must admit he;s a top bloke and I enjoyed his company! he was only going to stay for a short visist but when we got talking he ended up here for a few hours, also gave the wife some good advice on the Veg plot she wants to set up.... We'll 100% make it date mate round

Nice one Pal , I bet you're heartbroken ..... Rumor has it you'll be giving away a brand new MTC Mamba for first price Davy .... It would be good if a few Airgunners could all meet up sometime over the summer or sometime next season for a good crack and hopefully a pint somewhere ..... atb Jasp
