Nice one stealthy . the thing is this one wasn't intentional so to speak! just a case of wrong place at the wrong time. when the Comp started I had just virtually picked the gun up! like a pratt I didn't stick Dates in the pictures when I shot a good few squirrels and Pigeons! without a date on the pic's they fall out of the rules which is fair enough and my fault ..... Jasper All nice wild Woodland Woodies APP , some go in the oven but a majority this time of the year go to the birds..... Jasper

You won't beleive this ST I Just logged out of the hunting life about 40 mins ago, looked out of the window and there sat a Pigeon in a tree in the pit, opened the front door and pop!! dropped him just under the wing! he was also knecked for good measure.... Here's a couple of pics also one showing the bird shot earlier in the back of the neck ..... atb Jasp

Here's another that wondered within Range earlier today near the aviaries! the Pellet dropped slightly on this one but he was still struck in the back of the neck and died Instant . also a close up of the two shot yesterday showing the Pellets entry and exit, no suffering! they met their maker pretty sharpish ..... They're spot on Davy! I walked across to the under keeper yesterday as gave it a blast and he was shocked how genuine it sounds, its taken a fair bit of practice but I'm virtually tuned in now and ready to call some in I recon without sounding too much like donald duck ..... I'll contact my pal who picked them up and get some more info but here is a couple of links on them, I think they're pricey though mate but work A1 perfect, a quick pic of the one I have here ..... cheers Jasp Crow Calls (Sam Neyt) Sam Neyt

Cheers men. Itsl nearly all over for me now for a while I knuckle down for the busy summer but I'll still enjoy the Banter and reading your posts I must admit I am a breast and legs man, two pairs of nice firm breasts take some beating . Its funny as there's been a lovely pair of Tits hanging on my Seed stick and Nuts this morning.... Jasp

A pal came round yesterday with his new air rifle and a pair of Crow Calls he brought in from Belgium, at First they take a bit of getting used to but with some Practice they start to sound like the real thing... The guy in the Video demonstrating is the one who makes these calls, if you watch it through he shows the technique used and the final calls near the end of the clip he's got down to a T, they sound very realistic... Found a cracking spot in the Rhodies today underneath where some pigeons was coming in feeding the Ivy Berries, spent a Hour or so in there and accounted for two, Both struck in the swede with H&N Field Target Trophy which layed them to rest. this Gun shot Nicely with Accupell beleive it or not but I fancied a slightly heavier pellet and opted for the FTT's! I tried them before and they was very consistant and proving pretty deadly again avaerageing +/- 12FPS over 5 shots on the chrono.... I'll be sticking to them for the time being until another brand takes my fancy .... Jasp

A pal brought round a few tins of Pellets yesterday one of which was a tin Of BPC, in his rifle over 5 shots they averaged 750.82FPS 8.8Grain Pellet = 11.18FT/LBS. apart from that they felt pretty tight in the Barrel and shot all over the place in my rifle, then again mine is zeroed in to hit a Match head at 100 Metres ..... they seemed ok but not as Accurate as you said over distance as the Mags... Just seen the thread! cracking write up Davy and what a day , days like that makes it all worthwhile mate .... did you find out what was wrong with the Bunny? he looked pretty sick and even sicker after the pellet his him.... Let us know what you think to the new MTC scope please? I love my 3 - 12 Mamba and would like in time to stick another MTC scope on a different rifle. a lad came round yesterday with a 3.5-10x42 Niko Sterling Nighteater and I must admit I was well impressed with the clarity of the scope but I'm still in love with my MTC Mamba.... atb jasp

Nice one Guys thankyou Not been on for a couple of days but cheers all for the replies. A pal of mine came round yesterday with his New Theoben Evo! I'll start a different thread up about this soon but to cut a long story short he had never fired it until he got round here to zero his new scope. the gun felt very grinding from the start while cocking until we got to about the 40th shots and Bang!! I was cocking it at the time and got halfway through the cycle when the gun went off with one hell of a bang, the gun is now jammed in the broken position and locked up totaly, I know we cou

Cheers men I have to say you don't have to be a Marksman to tot up a large Kill ratio with these Pre Charged guns, I said it back in 98 when I had a Webley Axsor that it makes life alot easy when out Hunting. you had to shoot some of the old 12ft/lbs springers and shoot well! these things you can litteraly watch the pellet strike through the scope, its a Lethal method of Hunting bordering on total Carnage.... Hopefully the wife will buy me a Harris Bipod for my Birthday so I can lay over Bunny city around here and clean up, life will be made even more easier resting on a Bipod .......

Took a quick browse through the woods today! Sun was out so I thought why not... anyway I came across two Bunnies Virtually sitting together so I aimed at them and squeezed the trigger, to my surprise the Pellet went straight through one long ways and straight through the other long ways passed through a couple of silver birch trees nearly splitting them in two before finally coming to rest halfway through a trunk of a large Oak!! not bad for a .177 hey and a 8.6 Grain pellet ....... Just kidding guys so here's the truth.. walked into the edge of the woods to see a couple of Bugs Bunnies s

the sooner our Laws adopt the American system the better. when we first started we did our homework first read countless books from cover to cover!! put them down and read them again, we gleamed all the info that was beneficial in the housekeeping manning and trainning a Hawk and jotted all this down in a Diary for future reference or for quoteing chapters in books, the only problem is to many books can have a habit of contradicting each other and can leave a new Falconer wondering which method works best, some books are probably best left on the shelves or good for proping the bed up! others

You have to have a laugh don't ya FB , There was only one gun I could genuinly say I trusted taking on these 100 yd shots and beyond and that was this Baby, it was fooking Lethal when fitted with a 4 x 15 scope!! the tissue Damage and Hydrostatic shock it produced when fireing corks matched any Military Snipers outfit...... Seems like another Sado who can't judge Range while I have a hole in my arse. the Pelet delay time to the stike on the bunny sounds too quick for a start, he also edited it to show where his rifle was laying which probably managed to move back another 40 yds from his original position ..... My Garden is a good Yds! I set up some old CD's hanging in the bushes in the back hedge, all I can say is I wish I had a scope cam as you would hear the Delay before the pellet strike which is a tad longer than this guys.... -
No mate! this post was started well over 12 Months ago at the end of the 2008 - 2009 flying season. I couldn't be arsed flying with moving and one thing and another so I passed her on to someone who wanted to breed with her..... Jasp
