    mine are kept in this 3 story penthouse LOL ... each floor can be seperated so when it comes to breeding i can have a jill on each floor untill the kits are old enough for them all to go back in together again ........ once the breeding job is donr the hob retires to this batchelor pad again untill the kits are old enough then he gets re - introduced ..........

    you obviously are a silly little boy with no knowledge of the armed forces or what role they play both in war or peacetime, the british RAF are the best aviators in the world .... forget fighter school based in lipetsk west which trains the best MIG fighter pilots .... or mirimar the home of the american top guns the best of the best in the world come from britain ... granted the yanks come a close second BUT only because of the money they have to spend on technology ... if they had to fly by the seat of their pants because their instruments whent down they would be a poor second the the RAF .

    there is only one thing to do and that is get in the car either on your own or if needs be with some mate and get to this blokes house and get him (by whatever method) to take you to where the bitch is and take her from there get in the car and get home and leave the pair of them sort it out between them .............

    if people turn up these shows with what they class as working dogs and the start to falter AT ANY TIME then they should pass them on as pets because if they cant handle that amount of work then they wil be of little use in the field ........

    no i suppose youre right but i suppose its more aimed and stamina speed and fitness,but a working lurcher should have all these,mark mark i see where you are coming from ... but where is the stamina involved in this comp ??? lets take the long jump as one example ... lets say that from the time you leave your dog go to the time it completes the jump the whole exercise last what 5 seconds? ... so now lets say 20 dogs are in the comp its going to be a good 10 to 15 minuets before your dog will be required to jump again ... so the dog is working for 5 seconds out of 15 minuets ... hardly ta

    i see there is nothing there to test the true working lurcher then !!!! no basic obedience, no hunting up task, no retrieving over obstacles etc etc .... as far as i can see its all about racing and jumping ............

    well i own a collie mungrel type and she can certainly give simple marks and pin the odd bunny in a net ......... oh yhea and the mungrel can catch bolters aswell ......... if you honestly think that any old mungrel dog can be a ferreters dog (not a ferreting dog) then you have a lot to learn about ferreting and the job of a ferreters dog ...........

    Lloydy if you use a lurcher when you are ferreting then i wouldnt worry about howm bag you have in your stop net ... as the word suggests a stop net does just that ... stops the rabbit long enough for the dog to pick up and retrieve ..........

    so if a dog doesnt make the grade you are obviously blaming the dog and pass it on to a '' less demanding home '' ... have you ever thought that maybe the dog was pushed to hard as a pup ??? wasnt entered quite right for that particular dog ??? just took longer to mature ??? or a whole hoste of other reasons ... you really need to climb down off your high horse ... you are making out that you are the ultimate dog trainer and the only guy on this site that does any real hunting !!!!!!!!!!!!!1

    wished you got back what you put in to these comps ??? ... what exactly have you put in ??? ... apart from telling everybody how great you are at hunting fishing etc and how great your dogs are etc and how 95% of people on here are pretenders and jokers etc i dont see you have put feck all in ... go and join a band whin because by feck you can blow your own trumpet ...........

    the best dog i owned that run the flaps under the name naomis lad could do all distances ... we entered him in a distance race ... he equaled the sprint track record and smashed the track 750 yard record with the nearest dog 10 lengths behind him .... now that takes some doing in one race ........

    mark were the greyhounds you beat owned by paul james from south wales ??? if so no wonder you beat them he hasnt had a winning greyhound in years ..........

    mark the greyhounds you were beating at shows obviously were not purpose bred racing greys because i can guarentee you without a doubt taht before my sprints dogs injury there is no way your 22 inch dog would have been anywhere near him when he crossed the finish line ... just to add this dog was a track record holder and open class racer and would run through a brick wall to win a race ............

    listen hes asked me to put him on here. and by stud i mean lurchers. he aint fast enough cos of injury months ago i know that you mean lurchers thats why i am saying why would anybody want to use a dog that isnt fast enough on the track to put over say a collie when what you are looking from a greyhound is SPEED ............
