i woke up on my birthday last month to find one outside my house .... my missus had gone and bought it for me .... 03 plate full leather 63,000 on the clock £6,250 .... if the dogs are cold and wet then you dry them off with a towel and stick a jacket on them for the journey home, easy .... it soon warms up in the back of a pick up if its draft free ..........

1. yep no probs the hob will mate with the 2 jills in turn 2. they will start to come in season anytime from now untill may 3. you can leave them in the same hutch if they have been together for a while .... i have had up to 4 jills all having young in the same hutch .... remove the hob though 4. just give plenty of high protein meat ... ie rabbit etc and make sure they have plenty of water and good dry bedding ..........

my bitch is clever enough to know what is catchable and what isnt ... if a rabbit is close to a hedge she will go into stalk mode and try to get close enough for a catch but is it starts to go she wont bother trying to chase it as she knows it will be gone ... the same as rabbits playing hundereds of yards away ... she will watch them but not bother running all the way there knowing they will see her coming from miles off and be away on their toes .... she will however go after them if i send her on .... there is that much game where i hunt that if a dog didnt have the brain to know what was c

excelent snoop your reply was better than mine. i think you will find most people only have rabbiting dogs. me included. of course there are always some hot shots that have the others. some people are happy with average others may not be and rather than being a hot shot perhaps they strive to produce the best they can so if they decide to have a litter some time in the future they can hand on heart say they are producing a good class of workers

thers rabbiting dogs and thers RABBITING dogs ... any dog can mark a warren but not every dog can mark a hole in a warren and thats where the rabbit is ... any dog can work with ferrets but not every dog can work as part of the team with the ferrets following them underground watching the way the ferret behaves so it knows they are on a bunny ... any dog can be taught not to touch nets ..... not every dog knows when to grab the rabbit cos its about to escape the net otherwise leave it alone not every dog will IMMEDIATELY leave a netted rabbit once you get there and get back to the warren to wa

SATURDAY ........ My mate was up last week who is into his springer's and the trialling game ... he had a nice little bitch that wasn't quite hitting the cover hard enough so he wanted somewhere with plenty of game amd scent to get her on ... well after an hour the dog was shattered and my mate couldnt believe the amount of game that was available up here and raved about it all day untill he whent home .... the next day he rung asking if i could do him a favour and give himself and one of his workmates a day out ferreting as his friend has a saluki type that he wanted to bring on as she i

i have a nice little jill here 2 years old that i am giving to A GOOD HOME she handles like a kitten and is a solid worker ... the only problem with her is she dances on the edge of the warren and takes her time to come out ... i havnt got the time for this as most of the time i am working warrens with a minimum of 30 odd holes and i need the ferrets in do their job and out again so we cover the warren and move on ... given time and patience i am sure this can be cured i just havnt got the time to do it .... wiltshire/hampshire area ..........

fruite and veg is important as you get the correct balance of vitamins that you wouldnt get from a meat only diet ... i use 2 fruite and 3 veg in my dogs meal ... her is a list of fruite anbd veg ... hope this helps .......... Hello Socks how much water has say....beef or chicken have in it then. Because I feed my dogs mainly tripe with some complete and it has always performed very well for me. Not to say they dont get whole carcases for time and at the moment day old chicks for the pups as well. I always thought tripe or offal was the most prized by preditors, I know it contains lots of fat. beef has around 12- - 15% moisture mate .........

i dont feed shop bort crap mate ,as little pups they ad more then 2lb a day now at there age there on 2lb ,and have been since 6 month of age ,mine all fresh and i cut it up and that my self ,whats the first thing they eat in the wild .its not the legs, back, is it ,ive tryed every thing, and this works for me,the photo speeks for its self. i am not talking about shop bought crap either mate i am on about raw green tripe ........

if you need to be feeding over 2lbs of meat to a pup to put weight on it then just goes to show how crap it is ... tripe is 70 - % moisture fact ... a pup is not going to get much out of that .........

the problem with tripe is that it is between 70 - % moisture with a very low protein level of below 15% ... now whilst this is ok to use as a filler for adult dogs it is of little use to a growing puppy ... i would recomend feeding chicken which is high in protein for muscle developemt and beef which is high in fats for energy that a growing pup needs and also a very good source of creatine essential to a healthy strong pup ...........

that is way to much for a 15 week old pup ... you could end up with a pup with a distended gut ... allthough tripe is more water than anything else the sheer volume of food you are pumping into the dog means its metabolism will be going into overdrive trying to break the food down .... 1lb of beef mince split between breakfast and evening meal with some chicken wings miday would be plenty for a pup of that age imaterial of breed .... what type of cross is the pup ???
