Lads can obviously travel BUT you can't travel every other day can you or even every 2 or 3 days so it stands to reason that lads that have coursing ground on their doorstep are going to have dogs that are better than people that have to travel hundreds of miles once a week ..... How many times has somebody from Wales one any of the big events ??? ...........

A mate of mine whilst serving in Hong Kong managed to get a date with one of the English diplomats daughter who was a real stunner but real posh .... Anyway up he goes to Stanley to this massive building built into the cliff and overlooking the harbour ... Everything was going brilliantly and he was bluffing his way through the meal like a pro ... He was doing his best to hold it back but really needed a shit so he made his excuses and retired to the toilet had a his shit and was chuffed there was no smell and was chuffed he had only been a minuet and could have bluffed it was only a piss ...

I was there 2 years ago and asked a few of the locals about hunting and all mentioned shooting birds but nobody mentioned ferreting ..... Shame I could have maybe had a day out .... Ferreting in flip flops and shorts ... Now that's would be something ..........

If I had a dog that I thought would do that to an 8 week old pup it would be in the ground as it clearly isn't balanced right .... I always put a new pup in with an adult dog ... 8 weeks is very young for a pack animal to be expected to sleep on its own in a strange kennel ... Not good for its mental development IMO .... Pups need companionship comfort and an older dog to teach them limits, boundaries and correct behaviours ............ -

When I was racing greyhounds I tried all manner potions to harden pads and nothing works ... The toe pads will harden with road work but unfortunately if you have a dog with soft stopper pads the only way they harden is by being damaged and the resulting scar tissue callausing thus tuffening the stopper .........

As I told you earlier mate starve for 24 hours then give a probiotic yogurt boil up chicken and rice wash the rice until the water runs clear ... Start off with a handful every few hours and build it up over a 2 day period ... Dog should be fine by then ..........

Different looking dog to me ... Not much body fat and obviously they come individually not in a trailer where they keep each other warm .... I would think the jackets are for keeping muscle warm to reduce the chance of injury .......

Watched this countryfile earlier ... Seen it before and enjoyed it but there s a few questions I have if anybody out there can answer ..... 1. Is the trail hound a recognised type? Or can you breed your own type of trail hound adding in saluki or collie etc .... 2. It's a well known fact that deep chested dogs suffer from bloat so how do these dogs manage to wolf down a full bowl of food the second the 10 mile race is over? 3. Is this well organised and participated in or is it a dying type of race? Shame if it is as it looks a real good craic ... If I lived up that way I think I

As I said earlier fella pinch the scruff on the back of her neck lift it up and let go if it springs back down she is hydrated ... If it stays up like a tent the dog is dehydrated ...........

To be honest the more I look at that the more IT DOESN'T look like blood ... Blood in a stool is either really red or realy dark and tar like ... I would starve the dog for 24 hours then give a pro biotic yogurt then start with small feeds of boiled rice thoroughly washed out of all starch and boiled chicken ... Real small meals every 3 hours over a 24 hour period and then increase the meals until the dog is fine then back onto normal food ... However if the dog isn't taking on fluids or doesn't start to recover get to the vets ........

Stockholm tar is the stuff you are on about BUT YOU NEED TO TAKE THE BANDAGE OFF. .... The dog needs air on the wound to dry it and help promote re growth and attachment mate ... One of my bitches has taken over half her main pad off about a week ago and it is already healing ... The bandage will keep it damp and mankey get it off ..........

What is the dog fed on and is t taking on fluids ... Do the scruff test to make sure it isn't dehydrated ......
