the white stuff is bleeched i didnt think you could get whole tripe from the yards anymore after the rules brought in to stop the spread of mad cows diesease hi there paulus what i would say is green bellies are grass fed the whites are fromm store cattle fed silage plus nuts hence the white bellies , when i fetched them i would allways prefer the green and choose these over the whites . atb bunnys. ask your butcher he will tell you its bleeched people dont like the look or smell of green tripe but the white stuff looks better and is far less pungent paulus ye youre right the tr

No matter what a cow is fed on the tripe is always green unti bleached white .....

There are a few posts by me way back showing a few different dogs that I had in and conditioned if somebody can be arsed to look I can't lol .... You can clearly see the difference in the before and after dogs and none of them were fed on tripe ...........

Raw green unwashed from the abbitoire ... I usd to use it ove 30 years ago along with sheep heads etc .... But as I have grown I have tried and researched al different meats ..........

Tripe is around 8% protein fact ... useless for a growing pup ......

I realy can't be arsed going into all the ins and outs of feeding and conditioning people that have been on here a long time will know that I know my stuff when it comes to feeding and conditioning a dog ... I could sit here and reel off paragraphes of scientific words to back up my argument but life's to short ... Mspingu you feed what you want it's your pup ... I have offered my advice that's all I can do ...........

So would you suggest doing as I am then with the biscuits and chicken mince? Take away the biscuits altogether and add more chicken with a range of vegetables mixed in and feed it all raw ....... Would that make them turn inside out from pooping though? Changing over to meat at a young age will mean they may have a day or two of loos stools but they will quickly adapt ......

well must say my pups allways looked good on it but i fed a mix of chicken all so its pure cow stomach thats flesh so must be high in protein and its easily digested pups fatten quick as fook on it and chicken all the time can make pups ill not to mention its full of salmonella.... Go and tea search he properties of tripe if you don't believe me ... Also a dogs digestive system is perfectly capable of eating raw chicken .......

Tripe is % moisture with a very low protein level .... Absolutely no good for pups ... You are far better feeding chicken to young pus and as they get older feed fatty beef or a mix of the two .........

If its taken the nail completely off as has been said its going to be sore as hell ... Wash in warm salty water a few times a day and keep as clean as possible ... If it gets redder and sorer around the nail bed then that could be the start of an infection and may need anti biotics ..... For a split nail just clean it dry it and glue back together with super glue .... Simples ...........

To be honest I would rather a pup that doesn't chase ... A hare got up u der the nose of my 5 month old pup last week and she chased it 300 meters until it got under some rabbit fencing ... Now no way was she ever going to catch it so it was a fruitless chase that could have damaged her for life ... Luckily she is a strong little thing and the ground was slow going so she wasn't flat out ... The only up side was that it showed she has guts and determination to stick to the task ... But if I could have avoided it I would have ....... -
Tuffty it don't make us any more men than you or anybody else mate ... I suppose it just means we are wired slightly different and are able to cope with certain things better that's all .......

Same place, but different postcode....Bosnia!!!!. Sick fuckers. We found a dead pregnant woman nailed on a cross, they'd taken her baby out and stuck a piglet in its place....i was 19 at the time and the first ever dead person i'd ever seen. But i think i was too young to care...if that makes sense. Yep did Bosnia aswel mate and they were bad but Kosovo was the tops for depravity for me .......

War is war and a fire fight is a fire fight and yep it's some scary shit at times and does effect people BUT the worst atrocities I have ever seen that effected men the worst was in Kosovo ... The things them Serbs and Croatians did to each other and innocent women and kids was unspeakable ... I believe the Taliban and others make good use of that fact to. Using women and children as shields and even soldiers. Can you imagine the psycological impact having to clear an area with bayonets and coming up against an armed kid or woman? You know that's a bleedin' horrible thought. you do what has to be done . Kay the results were collated by civilian phsyciatrists not the military as it was an independent study ... A nurse having just finished a nice brew and a biscuits having to deal with somebody screaming knowing that there is a doctor to sort the problem is far far removed from somebody that has had little or no sleep for 24 hours has been carrying over a 100 lbs for miles across unforgiving terrain in soaring temperatures has been in a sustained fire fight for hours who is listening to their mates dying in agony and can't do anything about it ........
