    I will be very pleased to see this, the Kania (whilst effective) is expensive and I am always nervous for my fingers when setting this beast! Lol how can you be nervous for your fingers when setting the kania they are nowhere near the kill area ... Fenns are more likely to get you than a kania ........

    The best results from squatters are from a controlled run ... The dog gets down to the squatter fairly rapidly but then eases up ready for the strike ... You can plainly se it as they are up on their toes when they get about 2 to 3 meters out ready to strike in whichever direction the rabbit moves ... I am sure the youngster will soon suss this out .......

    I have about 50 imbras that have all been revamped by a lad off here and they are very effective .... I don't use mk4's on squirrels I use a kania or a mk6 and they kill instantly .......

    I'm in Wiltshire mate can only get hold of fenns at the moment ... It's no drama to me as I am buying in 100 mk6's and as they were offering a good discount I thought it would be beneficial to some lads on here if they wanted to jump on the bargain ........

    The manufacturers claim the inoculations work from six weeks which is correct ...but they don't say the pup,is covered then anyway .... Most people want their dogs done as soon as possible because they want to get the pup out and about and are afraid the pup will get something ... The vet is the same as any service and will bow to the demands of the masses ......

    I prefer to use a heat lamp as with a tube heater the bottom of the bed only is warmed up but a heat lamp above the dog spreads the heat out further and covers more of an area keeping the dog warmer ........

    My vet had done a study on it for a paper he was writing and spoke to the main manufacturers from nine different countries and the conclusion was that if the bitch is inoculated then the pups don't need need to be jabbed until at least ten weeks of age but to make sure the pup has enough anti bodies to take on the lepto virus its better to wait until the pup is 13 weeks for its first jab ... That's what I am doing with my pup this time .......

    It's because the weather is getting colder ... I hazard a guess that the shed gets a good deal of sunlight which will warm the wood up which is attracting the slugs ... Snails do the exact same thing ... All the above work but I do like the good old beer trap it's very very effective .......

    This. I make a 'nick' in the fur and get my fingers in. Then I only need a knife for removing it's head. Then same nick again; tear open belly; and gut. Simples. Practically no knife used. That's ok until you need to do 50 plus rabbits then you will need a good knife ... Oh and you don't need a knife to take the head off ..........

    f***ing vets haven't got a clue .... Fatty lamb and beef is the best for putting weight on busy puppies as they get their energy from the fat then all the protein from the meat can go to building the pup .... But sounds like he is getting a good varied diet anyway ........
