I understand we all have different tolerance and values etc.....but i cant understand how anyone would be happier with the consequences of near fatal injury to the consequences of shoplifting.......and to be fair im not sure i want to understand it either. I keep checking to make sure I am not writing in welsh as it seems I'm struggling to get my point across ... The bottom line is we all have different values and levels of tolerance for our kids and right or wrong is seen differently in different people and areas depending on how and where you were brought up ... What some see as a kid being a ball bag but nothing more others see as a lad on the bad road to ever more trouble ... But who is to say who is right ... The people that have to justify is actions or not are his parents ... My final word on the subject purely from my perspective is that I would be disappointed if my boy behaved like that ........

The thing is in life you are going to get in a fight at some stage and you could be the unlucky one that hit another fella and put him in a serious condition but its an accident that you can't do anything about ... Shoplifting is a pre determined thought out action that's not an accident ... If that makes sense ??? .........

Bit of a loaded question really as I wouldn't want to think some poor lad is in intensive care because of my boy but if it was down to a one on one fight then shit happens and I would rather him have been in a fair fight than out stealing ....thats a bit silly if you ask me would you think shit happens if it was your boy in intensive care as long as it was a fair fight of course No I would be gutted but I am also big enough and ugly enough to know that shit happens and a simple slap can lead to something far more seriously ........

Doesnt matter if its a fair fight or not mate if the other lad dies your boys doing a few years in the shovel as a criminal simple as that.....its a naive attitude to have to think when men or boys get in " fair fights " they are breaking no laws and its morally more acceptable...........to me a property crime doesnt even compare to a direct crime against a person.... but thats just my view When I say a fair fight I mean one on one not a gang of lads kicking the life out of somebody ... Qbgrey that's my point exactly ... My boy did loads of daft things ... A jet flew over the school and he dived under the table and told the teacher he had PTSD because his dad was in the army ... I had a phone call from the school telling me to collect him because of his condition that was playing up ... He told them he had a bad heart and needed to go home ... He would hide in people's wheelie bins and scare the life out of them when they came to their front doors ... Smashed greenhouse windows with his rugby ball by being careless ... He has come home the worse for wear plenty of times after

A sense of right and wrong get over it mate it was a child acting up he chucked a bottle he never shot someone I've got nothing to get over he ain't my kid ... And he didn't only chuck a bottle he walked around in his pants he then threw a bottle on the floor meaning an adult had to clean up him he then opened a bag of cookies took a bite then threw the rest on the floor meaning again somebody has to clean his mess up ... And to cap it off on the way out of the shop you can see him tipping stuff off the shelves onto the floor ... There's kids being kids and kids being unruly fukcing ars holes

Thanks Ken, maybe it's time I gave Barbour a try again. I've always liked the look of those Australian leather hats, but never had one. I would imagine those wide brims would be a bit of a pain on a blustery day though ? I use the soft leather fold up type hat ... Its got enough give to allow the wind to move it with actually blowing it off your head ......

My vet is top notch and wouldn't fill me with crap as he knows I know a little bit about dogs ... He is no money grabber even to the extent that when I had a tumour removed from one of my Jill's when I picked her up his words were well,that's it we don't need her back as I am sure you will take the stitches out ... I was chatting with my vet on Friday and asked him about jabbing my puppy for me as soon as possible so that I can get her out and about with me ... She is seven weeks old this week and he had no problem with jabbing her and asked me out of curiosity why I wanted her done so early ... When I explained so that she could come out and about in the truck and on short walks when I am checking snares and traps he advised that I wait ...
