Isn't it the case that prey animals such as hares, rabbits, deer, antelope, horses etc etc have evolved to enable themselves to run the same whether they have been feeding or not ? If this wasn't the case then I think the predators in the savanna would soon switch on to this fact wait until mid afternoon when the animals were well fed and have an easy time of picking them off ... I would think if that was the case lots of prey animals would be extinct and the predators would starve to death .......

whilst out and about setting snares checking traps and mole trapping I take my new little pal so that we get a good bond and she gets to see as much new sights and sounds as possible ... I noticed this week that whenever a leaf or a bit of sheeps wool or some paper etc blows past it she will naturally chase after it in that silly clumsy way that pups run ... But once she has caught it she always runs straight back to me with it ... If I keep walking she will trot alongside me holding whatever she has caught in her mouth ... If I stand still she will run back and sit in front of me With whateve

I think it must be an age thing as I don't believe in god and I am not religious at all but there are things that I would never do now that I would have done in a second in my younger days ... I think you become more compassionate and have a kinder outlook on life as you mature ... I don't know if that's linked to religion or a sense of peace that we all need at a certain point in our lives ........

It's called a good deal of luck fella ... My dogs are out every day but an accident could happen anytime ... My young bitch took a hell of a tumble this morning after a gruelling run but she came up with her quarry and is ok ... Sat having a cup of tea and drying off a bit and we will be back it and there are bound to be more spills with this sodden ground but fingers crossed all will be ok .......
