What would be a good machete or axe to get? My local hardware shop has the bear grylls machete but don't know of any reviews on those gerber blades. There are loads of good brands out there mate you just need to find one that suites your purpouse. If your not going to be felling trees then you don't need a great big axe ... Gerber are a tried and tested make ... You won't go far wrong with those ... My axe and kukri were made by midnight off here ... One offs and and brilliant at their jobs ........

I'm sure your sensible enough to have plenty of waterproof and warm clothing so that shouldn't be an issue .. Pack your spare clothes individually in zip lock bags they are better than a rucksack liner because if that leaks all your clothes are wet, when your kit is individually packed in water tight bags it will always stay dry, for basic rations take anything that can come to life by adding water, hot or cold but also take packets of dried fruit and mixed nuts Incase water is scarce or you can't light a fire ... Take a fire Steele and cotton wool .. Again keep in a sealed bag to keep it dry

So you come home and all your rabbits are ripped apart and one of your dogs has broke off his leash and has treed the bobcat ... So you can A shoot it job done or B get a chainsaw and cut down one of the trees in your yard then let your dogs chase it up onto a mountain where they balance on a ledge whilst baying at it ... Then risk one of your dogs breaking a leg as it jumps off the ledge after the bobcat when it bolts ... And all that still doesn't guarantee that the bobcat won't come back and kill more of your livestock ..... Mmmm I wonder .....

I just use a closed putang to clear out the tunnel the same way I do when I use the no mole the prongs work spot on for this job ... Put 12 in the ground on Monday and so far I'm catching well with them ... I do find them easy to use but I have been using the no mole for ages and these are the BIG brother .........

I like ta Boogie ! I'm a dancing fool. You know that If I fail I'll be gutted. So I have been doing lots of homework and probably learning things that are irrelevant to the Course or the Examination. . . My head is full and it hurts. . I have lost sleep worrying about questions that I've got wrong in practice tests etc etc. Sounds like you'll probably fail then ... oh well never mind back to bouncing in mothercare ......... -

To be honest I don't use anything mate just my sleeping bag and I find it plenty warm enough .....

It's a snug pack jungle hammock ... Weighs next to nothing and has a sewn in mozzi net ... as long as you have a decent poncho over the top of you it's every bit as good as a tent and a lot more comfy to sleep in ... I prefer it to a tent if I had to chose ......
