I get what your saying i just tend to believe some folk are born to do stuff and have a natural talent/ability be that physical or mental. Sounds perfectly sensible to allow people with a long and proven track record to carry a concealed weapon......its the day course Andy Mcnab wannabee,s im not so sure of. It doesn't have to be a day course It could be far more stringent than military weapon handling tests,there will be people who post on here much more competent than a lot of soldiers. I would like to know who the people on here are that are much more competent than soldiers .......

In the light of the Paris shootings I think the law needs to change to allow let's say 20% of the general,population of that country carry a concealed weapon ... The people vetted and licensed should be ex firearm police officers and ex servicemen that have done a minimum time in the forces of ten years and were qualified weapon instructors ... If only one person had a weapon in that rock concert the fatalities would have been much lower ......

He,s under direct threat.......whats the point in carrying guns if not to protect yourself ? Because there are different degrees of threat ... A man of your size could make somebody feel threatened by just leaning over them doesn't mean they should shoot you in the face .........

Again that's my point ... Ben wouldn't just whip a gun out because somebody was ranting and raving at him ... even pushing him ... you would only do that if you were not sound of mind ... I don't know maybe it's because I have been around guns literally all my life that I think the way I do .......

I know you live in isolation and dont get to see much of real life but you are a sensible responsible chap......apparently. Im not......and i dont live in seclusion.....so should i carry a knife ?...... its probably safer for all concerned if i dont Gnash I doubt if you would end up stabbing somebody to death if you happened to have a knife in your pocket and you got into an argument ..... The French/Italian attitude to alcohol is very different to ours......they use alcohol at social congregations/meals etc but have no lager lout or public nuisance and general " coolness " about being paraletic drunk like we do....they dont really understand our drinking culture. Probably similar to how us carrying guns sounds crazy but in East LA its perfectly normal. That's my whole point mate ... If it was the norm to carry a gun in this country then in a few generations it wouldn't be a big deal and would be seen as the norm .......

I carry a knife every day and wouldn't even think of drawing it in an argument ... I just don't see the logic that because somebody carries a gun he will use it in anger ......

tbh i know shit about rugby but isnt union designed to give the fatter men a run out. From youtube vids league looks a very competitive athletic sport always on the move. Ive never seen a live union game but i have league and all them guys were 6ft plus and really motor add that to the fact they actually look like atheltes not professional pie eaters. Maybe its cos i cant grasp the union rules thats doing my nutt in. Go and have a training session with one of those pie eaters and see how long you last lol .......

alcohol is part and parcel of society and families in france spain Italy etc and you don't see kids rolling around the floor drunk in these countries .... its because its part of their culture and grow up with it ...its normal .......
