I can easily get a dog looking like that without working it regularly it's nothing clever or magical ... as for burning a dog out I work mine seven days a week and as long as they have good grub and a warm comfy kennel they will be ready to go again after 12 hours rest .......

Some people can get the best out of a dog and some can't ... there are fellas that can turn an average dog into a handy nut there are others that can turn a good dog into shit ... there's a reason some people continually have good dogs and others don't ......

100% with you on that ....... Be interesting to see if anyone's done it or even thought of tryin it... I did it with my terriers for years ... used to take them to mr Campbell who was the resident vet at Swansea greyhound track and kept and raced dogs himself ... he wasn't strictly a bone man but was very good at manipulating the dogs and putting things right ......

The basic common sense comparison is this ... if you have two equally matched canines matched at equal quarry and they are expected to work that quarry or various quarries over a prolonged period of time the dog that has been fed on a well balanced diet rather than shit will last longer work harder will recover quicker and have less work related injuries ... it's common sense really .......

I never said he was a TOP trainer, I don't know what classes or races he competes in as I've no interest in it, I happen to be in said mans yard on a different matter and seen this, right or wrong he gets winners on a regular basis, no need to be getting aggressive or angry with me, I've done no wrong, only stating what's going on. because you will never beat nature and dogs have evolved to eat raw meat ... just the same as there's been a lot of money spent on milk substitutes but you will never beat mothers milk ...... But where's the science to say it's better? Just raw meat won't and can not give a dog as much nutrients as a complete working dog food Have a quick google and you will find plenty of science to prove that raw is nutritionally better ... have a look at the ingredients on your bag food and then google each one ... apart from anything else evolution has proved that raw is best ......

They should be well dried and cured by now ... get them over a round smooth post and work them to soften them up you'll soon see if their done ... if not lightly salt again .......
