It’s covered on two sides and has a roof and I built it so that the front faces south and the weather mostly comes in from the covered sides so it’s normally ok ... to be honest though as long as the sleeping box is 100% dry then there’s no problem if the run gets wet ... they would get wet in the wild ......

In fact whole axe done ... fitted with an oak handle and stained with gun stock oil ......

Got loads around my buddlia and in the conservatory ... I’ve got a saucer of sugar water up on a shelf for them and it’s always crowded with them ........

I only used about a quarter of the file for the gut hook knife so I decided to use the rest to make a small axe. So I folded it over and forge welded it ... I’m going to grind an edge on it and leave the rest as a rough look so pretty much as it is .....

Don’t know I was just fukcing around trying different things ... I made it 6 mil so I may put a brass rod in there for a bit of decoration .......
