  1. Best thing to do about barbed wire is to get them out amongst it from 12 weeks old. Soon catch on.
  2. Take it your in a syndicate hatch. Lol.
  3. But in that 10 mile radius there is maybe 10 or 15 small syndicates all with lads hammering them with rifles. Was talking to a lad last year that used to do a bit with terriers then moved on to shooting with a gun pack and he was complaining about the lack of foxes, he said previous seasons they were shooting 15 or 20 a weekend and that season they were lucky to shoot 4 or 5 and he couldn’t figure out what was happening, was he not a stupid Cnut.
  4. Don’t know what part of the country your in hatch but that doesn’t hold water where I’m at, Fox numbers are well back from what they were 6 or 7 years ago. A few lads put down 4 or 5 hundred birds and then think there within their rights to shoot every fox within a 10 mile radius and usually start in March and finish in September, we have been asked more than once if we could sort a problem fox they can’t get and the answer is always the same... GET FCUKED.
  5. I hate every Cnut that ain’t using dogs for fox control. They can all get fcuked. Oh and the dog lads that don’t give them a season they can get fcuked too. Lol. Just being honest.
  6. Many years ago I witnessed a lad trying to gee his dog on by shouting down bar holes. Lololol.
  7. T bars can be used way to much at times but I’ve seen them save a terriers life more than once. Bit like the sharptooth fork, don’t often need it but it’s always in the van.
  8. Miss gnashers input in these threads.
  9. Had a few lager in for the fight and then read this and it put me in the mood for stout. Had to nip out for a few. Lol.
  10. I think a lot of lads overlook the importance of quality digging bitches. How long can a line last if it isn’t producing decent bitches. I’ve heard it muttered more than once from people I thought would of new better that bitches are for breeding and dogs are for digging.
  11. Got gifted a pup and another to run on for a lad a good few years ago and in this case the stud jacked. I came home from work to find an empty kennel.
  12. Can’t see a problem in breeding from a dog or bitch after a couple of seasons if ye see something that little bit special in them. Better to chance an early breeding than to never get it. But that’s just me, appreciate other people have there way of doing things.
  13. Got myself a couple of victors after reading this and they are great, no comparison to the alternatives I was using that were often sprung but empty, both victors killed clean as they were exactly where they were set. Great little trap. Sound advise Phil..
  14. If your earning top wedge why the fcuk are you keeping your dog in a ferret run. Lololol.
  15. Same as that. Feck it I’ll laugh. Lolololol. It’s comedy gold this place at times.
