  1. I used to have a mk3m and have been using a mk1 this season for the first time and whilst the mk1 is ok i much prefer the mk3m and will be getting another one for next season and selling/ swapping the mk1. I just prefer the leds and general feel of the mk3m, never had any problems with accuracy either.
  2. Nice one mate, I just started with long nets this season and i love it, won't be with out one now.
  3. 3 1/2 months, just looks bigger than it is in photos.
  4. Just got back from picking this little cracker up
  5. All back to normal, thank god! Had me chewing my fingers for a while but now keeping food down fine and no adverse side effects, phew!
  6. Had I any idea of the potential problems then I would of made him chuck it up. Spent all day reading about it, some mixed opinions about grapes/raisins, etc but either way he's going in tomorrow just to get him checked over to be safe. Fingers crossed the vet is right and its all passed through by now and the richness is what's unsettled his stomach resulting in food coming back up. Bracken Boy, it was put right out the way, god knows how he got it.
  7. Just spoke to my vet, they don't seem to worried, suggested that I take him tomorrow for a check over. Said that the fact he is ok in him self and still charging around and drinking loads would suggest its just the richness that has caused the problem rather than any toxic effects and just to feed small amounts of the usual boield chicken and rice.
  8. Cheers for the replies, will take him and get him checked over and keep fingers crossed!
  9. Best days out are with my boy, can't beat it can you ! Great stuff mate!
  10. Happy new year all. after your thoughts if you would??? Monday night dog eat most of a xmas pud (a very big one) we thought was out of reach. Didn't feed him in the morning as it was a big pud and thought he had had more than enough. Went for a 3 hour walk in the arvo and decided he must of run off the pud so fed him when we got back and with in a couple of hours he chucked the lot back up, fed him this morning and the same again. His sh!t is fine, I thought he would have the runs but he don't, still done one this morning and given the colour and nuts in it you could pour brandy on it and ligh
  11. I was talking to some one that rides the other day about the same thing. She thinks it would be to much noise from the horse and give anything a clear warning you were coming and anything that didn't and broke cover would spook the horse.
  12. That's crazy, if the bloke needs a visit due to possible cruelty then fair enough but not like that, knock on the door. Why would they go to such lengths? How does a charity have so much clout? and it must if cost a bomb to do. Madness!
  13. I know mate, look and sound the biz and just the sort of thing im looking for. Hopefully an opportunity will present its self and the right thing will pop up at the right time
  14. Self employed, I do long hours but when I want to go I just book the time out and work a bit later another day to make up for it. Dog goes wear I go so get out for a bit most days in-between jobs
  15. Very nice mate. I wouldn't mind one of those myself
  16. See a hare on the side of the road (road kill) the other day first I have seen for a long time, I'm only out in the day at the mo though so can only hope there doing well. Love to see them, I always think its a shame to hear about them being shot in big numbers. Couple of the farmers I know like them all shot to keep the muppets off due to problems over the years.
  17. I followed that one and made two 50 yrd nets, work a treat!
  18. My wife sent me this and im hoping she has not ordered one!
