    Its not a stupid question fella, you always get a few planks on here give you sh!t, don't worry about it. You now know that most people don't do it and why so take the knowledge and ignore the rest. There are plenty of top lads and lasses on hear that are happy to help so ask away. I have found it a very helpful and supportive, although a good sense of humour helps,lol. I have even had people very kindly donate me equipment and sound advice when I have needed it

    Thanks for sharing! Its in the middle of nowhere out there mate so makes you wonder if its a local lad especially if they've been hanging around all day? I never leave my dog at home any more, goes every where with me unless my wife is home. Hope you manage to sort it!

    Yeah, I feed mine, always have food in! I wouldn't go out working all day with out eating, I'd have no energy. Me, dog and ferrets all get fed in the morning and we do fine. If out all day I take food and water for all of us and enjoy the break, time to soak in the environment and have a rest.

    As title says! Ordered sheet netting a week ago, told it would be here by Wednesday. Not arrived so called today and not responding to call, left message and text asking for update but nothing back.     Never used one before, can't afford to buy a ready made set up so making my own. One of my recently acquired permissions has an area that needs the use of one and its been the excuse I needed to get one.

    For bushing,hunting above or in the ground you will need drive coupled with intelligence and nose. Without good drive and the nose to keep up with that drive you wont get far hunting anything from rabbits to foxes. When you see a dog with the scent of a rabbit not far away and all it does is plod up and down and clings to the scent not quite sure what to do with it and often going back on the heel and pondering some more,then your chances of a catch or flush are low.A good busher would do like a good hound and drive forward on the scent with confidence and hopefully panic the rabbit into indec

    Off the back of the thread about terriers being stupid or not got me wondering which terrier breed is the most intelligent. Never owned one myself and torn between a terrier and a cocker for bushing.
