  1. Same here but only in very small doses at that age, you've got to make it fun for the dog.
  2. If you have those big feck off sticky buds round your way be careful of them too. My dogs a sod for pulling them out himself and eating them. Last year he frightened the crap out of me by spewing up a bunch that was as big as my fist. Ever since I brush him as soon as I get back from a mooch, though touch wood I haven't seen many about this year.
  3. I don't think you can do much other than pick them out each time mate, my dogs part beddy and he gets them stuck all the time too. Most will be gone in a month or so, it's a seasonal thing. Get her used to being brushed too, it's miles quicker than by hand.
  4. I must have gone somewhere different then because all the bitches I saw there were greyhounds, and the gallery of stud dogs are all collies
  5. It's great to see everyone getting along jez kyle must have finished I know my mrs passed the lie detector .......................apart from the man MH mentioned have you had sexual intercourse with any other men ??? . I take my hat off to you mate, if someone had said that about my missus I'd have been raging. Theres no excuse for what was said at all
  6. Any decent builder will come and have a look for free mate, not saying they will do the repair but they should tell you what is causing it.
  7. Does the smell appear when you have the central heating on? If so it's definately a dead mouse. After eating poison they look for somewhere warm to lie up and it's usually next to a central heating pipe. You wouldn't believe the smell that can come from a tiny mouse thats next to one, and it will take a couple of weeks for it to dry out and the smell to disappear. If not another possibility that I came across once was that the sewers may be backing up when it rains a lot, and if you have a soil pipe under a concrete floor that is not sealed completely it can force foul air out through it and c
  8. I think they mean that it was bought for the son and it's him thats lost interest not the dog mate.
  9. It sounds as though they could really screw things up for the Scots if they do decide to stay as British
  10. I wonder what will happen if they press to stay in the UK? http://uk.finance.yahoo.com/news/could-the-scottish-islands-become-the-next-jersey--152024691.html
  11. Yes mate, but they will be 8 weeks at the end of October and the earliest I'd be wanting one would be the end of November, peferably mid December.
  12. will be like that round my way in spots feking kids there a nightmare Yep, you could shoot planes down round here sometimes with the beams that are pointed skywards. And if they aren't shining the lamp you can hear them yakking 2 fields away.
  13. I'm off but am expecting it to be like Blackpool illuminations round here.
  14. Give this fella a ring.....they'll do a job....and they are on THL now.... http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/classifieds/item/262-line-bred-beardie-collie-x-greyhound-pups-for-sale/ I'm stuck till mid November at the earliest mate or I would have.
  15. I went down there for a look last week and if I haven't found anything that takes my eye on here by November I'll be having a half cross from there.
  16. My daughter went to bed as my angel one night when she was about 12 and came down next day as Vicky Pollard, it only gets worse with girls mate.
  17. hats off to you a couple of hours is more than enough for me too. takes me an hour to walk the 300yrds to get to lamp I never said I do any walking, most times I just curl up in a bush and sleep
  18. I had more grief from my daughter than both my lads put together, every lad she bought home was some waster I felt like throttling. She finally settled down around 21 with the first one I didn't want to kill and is now at 30 a mother herself to my grand daughter, who I take great pleasure in telling her is going to do the same to her as she did to me and her mom.
  19. I'm 60 in December and still out with the dog and lamp when I get the chance, though to be honest it's usually just for a couple of hours.
  20. I'm paying a bit less than that round here, its about 35p a pound for chicken and 40p for the rest
  21. I feed my dog a mix of meats, chicken, beef, lamb and tripe, that way I think if there is something missing in one it will be in another. Other than that all he gets is whatever is left over from our meals in the way of veg's and raw bones when I can get them and he seems fit and healthy enough.
  22. Mines the same mate, he's spent the last few months just mooching in the day so it's to be expected really. Once he's been out a couple of times he will settle down again.
  23. Iv never agreed with that ethos. Imo if your Good enough your Big enough. Its Football not Rugby. And thats why the British game is in the state its in, Its about time we learnt kids from a early age to play football instead of just lumping it at every oppertunity. It should be about keeping the ball. Attacking as a Team and Defending as a Team. It's a fact though that all sportsmen are getting bigger and bigger so size must come into it some where. An old saying is a good bigun will beat a good littleun and it's probably true.
