  1. Brilliant, he looks like a little old man rather than a 2 year old.
  2. Good honest post mate, nice to hear of people like myself who's dogs aren't perfect.
  3. http://uk.news.yahoo.com/wolf-attack-russian-granny-fights-off-beast-071805743.html It's a fact she couldn't bite it back
  4. Didnt he Marry Mary Hinge ? No mate he married Betty Swallocks I think.
  5. Yes mate, that will be the time I throw a fit when I find out some school or other will be banning it for fear of upsetting other religions I used to take the piss out of my old man as he got older because he seemed to lose his rag over everything, but now its happening to me it aint quite so funny
  6. In ten minutes tonight the news informed me that Abu whatever his name is is to be released, the ex BBC director General is to have a bonus for being the most incompetent twat on earth, and finally, to really make sure I have a heart attack, there were a load of politicians sitting with perfectly straight faces lecturing Costa Coffee they were deliberatly using legal loopholes to avoid paying tax :censored: I bet the SAS guy is sitting in prison thanking the Lord he chose to risk his life for years on end for good old Britain.
  7. Thats the whole point mate , we already have 1 rule for some and 1 for others. How many politicians, police chiefs, council leaders and the rest have been caught bang to rights yet still walked away with their big fat pensions intact claiming it was all a "mistake"?
  8. In the past couple of years there have been countless occasions when politicians and people in power have been caught bang to rights stealing and fiddling all kinds of things, and every one has called it either an "oversight", "accident" or "mistake", and got away with it Why can't a guy who is actually useful to the country claim the same thing? I've signed
  9. It's a good series, I don't think there is a second one out yet. The telly has quite a few good series at the minute IMO, Game of Thrones is fantastic if you are able to follow the unbelievably complicated storyline, Boardwalk Empire is another, and so's the Hatfields and Mcoys.
  10. Anyone know who as on Philip Scholfields list that he gave to Cameron? I've got a fiver that Ted Heath wasn't, my missus is convinced he will be.
  11. If the poor sod has been locked in for the past 18 months as you say it would be for the best if you took him out again and told the owner to fook off when he wants him back. I can't believe anyone would be so cruel as to lock any dog let alone a running dog up for that length of time, I feel sorry for mine if I have to miss one day walking him.
  12. I was cleaning mine out today and gave them a little run in the garden. The dog came over for a look see and my hob snuck up and nipped him on the back leg, which resulted in 70 lb of lurcher going about 5 foot in the air squealing like an old woman. The pup will soon learn mate.
  13. I love the bit where it says "Crenellated strike bezel for enhanced self-defense", there'll be a few on here who buy one just for that :D
  14. Imo Littlefish has got it spot on mate, praise will get you much farther with him than being angry. I would try taking him somewhere at night where you know there will be no distractions and practise his recall to the lamp. Once he's coming back every time you can give it a go on rabbits, but if he's anything like mine was he will still hunt up a bit until it clicks that coming back to you will mean he sees more rabbits than going it alone.

    oops

I bet he wont do this again http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/blogs/world-of-sport/fighter-knocked-begging-punch-120013161.html
  16. I think I smell humble pie....
  17. Thers been 2 lots stolen on here in the last couple of weeks so I would think it's a good idea.
  18. Why the wind can be blowing all day then as soon as night arrives everywhere goes flat calm?
  19. I found a jill a few months ago. Don't know how long she had been out but if I give her a run in the garden she digs up worms and beetles so I would think she could get her own food quite easily if she was in the wild. I seem to remember reading a book by Phil Drabble where he said most lost ferrets die for lack of water rather than food?
  20. Gutted for you mate, why on earth would someone take a persons ferrets when they can be picked up for free everywhere? If it's any help I've got a ferret box here that I don't use any more, you're welcome to it.
  21. Definately, lol. She had a litter of 2 hobs and a jill a week after I found her and I kept the jill back thinking she would have the same temperement, but she's turned out the polar opposite of her mother. At the minute I wouldn't dare try her because it would take me an hour to get her back, she thinks it's a game to have me chase her round the garden if I let her have a run about so she;s a work in progress at the minute.
  22. I thought I'd give you all an update on the Jill I found a few months ago. I must admit she's quickly become my favourite stinker, she's the calmest most placid little thing I've ever seen and will even come to me when I call her, but obviously I needed to know if she would work so I tried her out this afternoon for the first time. I went to a small warren built under a couple of telegraph poles in the middle of a field that I could manage easily on my own, netted two holes at one end and sat the dog at the other to wait for any bolters then slipped her in. 20 minutes later she reappeared a
  23. I bought a cracking mini shovel from Jewsons the other week for a tenner, I cant remember the brand name but it is really strong and will strap on the ferret box easily.
