    what

must confess i've been concerned over this myself, considering their veiw is to send non native persons even those who have been here 4 or 5 generations back to the country they apparently came from to be honest i find this scary both my parents were born in ireland and though i was born in london i have an irish passport and every legal document states me as irish, it also makes me wonder about my daughter who was born in england and father - if you can call that excuse for a human being that!) is english i do wonder would i be expected to leave but my child stay?? to be honest i have dec
  2. once the dogs pads toughen up they'll be fine, 180 is a lot of money for nettle stings! but at least it shows you care about your dogs mate, the 2 pups i have now don't appear to be effected by nettles but my bitch when she was a pup she would wimper and jump about a bit with the discomfert but they soon learn to get on with it like humans! lurcher lass x
  3. as with any dog, it depends on the parents of the pup, were the parents health checked especially the germen shepherd, a shepherd is a light build of dog so weight shouldn't be a problem and by rights you'd have the brains of a shepherd for trainabilty and the speed and instinct of a greyhound.....hopefully! but as i say in regards with health problems it depends on the parents and you probably should have checked this out before getting the pup wish you all the best lurcher lass
  4. i would strongly recommend a halti for this, at least any people she has a go at can see your working at curing this behavoural problem, as mentioned above a method of distraction is priceless, be it clicking fingers, food runnin in opposite direction etc etc also when you walk her keep her busy, jogging, playing with ball etc try to prevent her getting bored during her walk best of luck mate, also have a look at what your feeding her on as a lot of dried food can create beavoural problems due to lack of nutriants lurcher lass x x x

  7. ok you bought it but how much did it set you back, the reason why i'm thinking of making one is simply because i don't want to spend a silly amount of money
  8. would be harringay as thats where i used to live, it was only down the road from my dads house, anything would be great, photos program just so i can keep a part of me dads memories a lot of stuff was removed from his house and to be frank i'm not a materialistic person and as dad had just died i just wanted the house sorted so the land lord would get off my back, now i half regret it sorry rambling away.. its harringay definatly north london, but as i say anything from walthomstow would be good too/instead as like i said before i spent much of my childhood in there thanks for repl
  9. to be honest nothing beats a good six hour ramble round the countryside with your dog, i don't understand this new culture of lamping and shooting from a car or quad bike it tis pure lazyness, predictable and must eventually get boring i love returning with my dog both content after a good long stretch of the legs even if you have to carry it and may make more noise its worth it bring on winter!!!
  10. same here mate i am wasting so much time just watching of handling the kits, i will really miss them but i'm getting in new blood instead so i'll still have youngsters around, plus the ones i'm getting in are only a day younger so hardly any age difference my kits are lovely i gave them a frozern day old chick as the werather was hot and they munched it, they have started increasing the amount of solids now and have reduced the amount of suckling time off my jill i am handling them very ofen now, to the point that my daughter finds it strange if i'm not holding or near at least one kit th
  11. i know a pure ridge who'd take down deer on his own, pre ban of course stunning dog my very good friend then crossed him with a pure greyhound and the pup they kept turned into one of the most stunning dogs i have ever seen and just as good a hunter as their father
  12. this is a case of pecking order the dog as a rescue would have been sat in kennels so would have become used to becoming alpha dog' a lot of rescues have all the dogs seperate and then staff will come in to give the dog one to one attention, although rescues do good work they can also create problems too, now that the dog is used to having everything to himself he needs to be re trained to accept another near him while having bones etc start things gradually, are they fed in the same room? feed them little and often as many times as you can during the day, each day move the bowls closer
