after not sleeping at all, and feeding him almost every hour and keeping him warm on a hot water bottle with me all the time, he finally took a nibble at some raw chicken this morning!! i had to go food shopping, so took kit with me and stopped to feed him several times, which brought some attention, he's a different kit, he's warm, eyes open and started squeeking at me now!! compared to the small cold quiet limp and eyes closed he was before i normally bring the litter indoors to have their raw meat, give the jill peace to eat hers and allows for bonding and handling, so i popped the boy

take the kits out of the hutch and run etc, completly scrub in animal friendly disinfectant and antibacterial, ie for hutch use, spray wth mite and lice spray leave to air through - this should be done once a week any way but just really scrub it through now may be an idea to pop a hot watr bottle in for heat at night times and change it regulary, diet combination of minced meat or ftipe, rabbit turkey etc milk and raw egg mixed and water, always be sure their drinking, i personally would bring to vet t check for desiese and to check the kits health out incase they need some formula,am curren

i've seen this before with dopey pet owners, i was asked a while ago to clip its teeth, which i did but not without the hints of bunny stew, seriously though it was good your dog caught it, may have been surviving but it must of hurt or been unconfertable at the very least, happy hunting everyone x x x

hi everyone the litter have all been grand, keeping me and the jill busy been eating plenty of raw meat now and a basically off the jill now, i went in this morning to clean out and feed water etc like normal to find me lil hob kit was a bit slow today - he is the smallest of the litter and developed slowest out of them all, the whole litter survived the jill didn't lose any and done a fantastic job but i always said that he would have been the one lost, anyways,,, went in to see him a bit slow so booked an appointment at the vets to have him checked but wasn't too worried, cleaned out t

if you honestly have concerns that a dog may be deaf go to a vets and have it checked very nice dogs though

your right mate, too many people go for a type of coat or colour etc i own three lurchers, all i have picked due to their tempermant, the parents working ability and the vibe on breeder, if i don't feel secure with the breeder i wont but the pup, no matter what kind sounds strabge but my eldest bitch i chose due to a vibe and a certain way she had about her, i don't go for certain breed types either, i spent 8 months searching for the correct pup, though i had lurcher in my head and i knew i didn't want a dog to heavy mouthed or too intelligent i.e lots of collie but hey thats me. i saw a p

as said above beddy whippet greyhound, if you do go for collie make it only slight collie in it, 1/4 or less best of luck mate x x x

and pups beddy/greyhound x whippet/greyhound both are coming on nicely and have settled well, training is good in both dogs but each have their weakness give them time i hope they make a real pair of workers, the plan is for the bitch to focus mainly on lamping and the male on ferreting/daywork as i like to ferret without using nets gives more excitment for the dog have got some other really nice photos but struggling to load them, so will pop them up shortly all the best lurcher lass x x x x

i personally wouldn't bother with swimming as fitness routine, fine for lesuire or change but not to sort the dogs fitness, road work were the dog is constantly going at the same pace either by with you walking or jogging or next to a bike, this tones the muscles better then off lead where the dog will trot a bit stop and sniff and wonder etc however this shouldn't be instead of a walk, as this is good for training and bonding with the dog, retrive work and the odd gallop on pursuit helps of course and lamping is fantastic as it also helps keep the dog intune with its quarrey and prevents the

Born just off roman rd bethnal green and up till 10 years ago moved about between shoreditch,bow right along to canning town......hence the last ten years away has been like a breath of fresh air !
