I agree there are far to many want to be hunters around who know fukc all ... Deerhound whippet first cross what an amazing idea .... I am going to get one there must be loads of working deerhounds and whippets around and breeding them would be easy .........Crack on marster mind hope you get what ya want, but me personally I would artificiall semenate the deerhound dog into the whippet bitch much easier than try to get them to tie.good luck

My mate has whippets and he has had plenty of game with his,the bitch is 21tts and it's son is 22tts and had hold of big game down to munjack pre ban of course.for a little dog they have big hearts like a lot of big dogs but they are to small to release this.if I had the chance i would go for a 1stx whippet/deerhound but there is none of them around but like said the lads who haven't had a whippet slate them until they see the real deal work.thats the thing on this site there's to many want to be hunters who don't have a clue and I think they should start learning before they judge comment and

My mate had 1stx to domestic polecats and he said they would work 10hrs if you did but were a bit nippy unless you breed a 3/4 domestic 1/4 wild then they are fine.he had that strain for a lot of yrs.

The ones I bred were from a doxhope 1st x and all the bitches made 23 tats and the dogs 25tts which is ideal height for any breed.

Deerhound/greyhound 1stx back onto a whippet every one was good dogs but the only fault they were to fast if anything but defo a good cross

DEERHOUND X GREYHOUND PUPS 10MONTH

Thats a poor looking Deerhoundy bitch, short coupled, short necked, narrow fronted and weak skulled, the dog looks a tad wider between the ears but is slender jawed and as weak looking as the bitch.A very poor representation of a Deerhoundy. haha, bit harsh morton.short coupled and short neck could be solved by showing it something and they'll stand better.other crtisism's can see your point.look at the back foot on the bitch. Deerhoundys where noted for their strength, long back, long powerfull neck and a jaw suited to their frame, wide and powerful stance and an invincible aura,i didn,t get any -

Maybe he knew yours was a bayer and preferred the harder type .He wasn't a bayer he did mix spot on as I seen it a few times when we broke through he had a good hold.just a sensible dogEven if your dog was hard and missing half it's chops he might have still preferred the other dog. he did as he says you don't mind me picking that one as its marked up,I said its up to you as your the judge but the lad he picked bred him.but like I said nice bloke

I didn't say you were mate I was just saying,I enjoyed watching him more than my borders as they were to hard so it was nice to have a dog like him.

Ken pick a terrier that was half brother to mine over mine because it was marked up and the dog was a loon to ground.mine was a sensible dog and never got marked apart from one little scratch.he would of given me it instead of the other lad if mine was in the same state but some terriers are sensible some aren't so it goes to show you a man with his knowledge isn't always correct.but apart from that it was good crack and a nice man to.
