    That time me and my stepfather went down frank bucks so I could get a pup from him,he hated the name patterdale even though he had reds and blacks in at the time.He said they are Lakeland’s (the black ones) not patterdales or fells,I was like ok it’s just what people call them.But him and my father knew everybody once they got talking.his wife had a pure Lakeland bitch in which frank hated but it was smashed off a otter in a pipe when he was out taken the dogs out for a walk.He was a funny bloke.

    I can guarantee you frank buck used a border terrier dog from Ron hodgson back in the day,Ron did have the dog it sired of franks and date.But Ron has passed away now but I remember him and his wife telling me the story years ago.But frank wouldn’t say anything about it.

    Some of these touches for ya rifles are spot on mate just as good as a lamp or better than some.Like said fits in ya pocket but depending how long ya out get a spare battery ?

    The way vets are now mate you stand there and tell them what’s wrong with the dog as a lot don’t have a clue,then the cheeky feckers charge you consultation fee for what you told them the dog had.Feck that bone man 1st who does this day in day out and stand a better chance then getting shafted by dick Turpin who spends 7yrs training and doesn’t have a clue,then just gives you metacam feck them.

    My mate sent me a WhatsApp asking if I know anybody for one both dog pups and he says the lad want £500 a pup.Both KC reg as people left deposits on them then told him they didn’t want them now.He is in bishop Auckland Co Durham if ya interested.

    This is the last bedlington I bred out of workers for my brother who wanted one but no more of that bloodline left either,all died of old age now and couldn’t get anything close enough to them.

    The lad who bred these is the stepsons he sold 3 for £950 each but got sick of cleaning shit up off them,so I got 2 bitches for me and my mate 650 the pair.The wife wanted one just as the prices started going up to £600 as we had to pts this fella but I wouldn’t pay it so got her a teckle off a mate and when I got the chance of these 2 pups for that price I had to take it,even though I didn’t want another dog.

    I can’t understand how yous are kicking off over the prices when there’s lads on here sold pups for lockdown prices,but won’t come on a say at the end of the day if it’s do pricey you don’t buy simple as or if you want it pay the money.You will be surprised how many lads have jumped onto it to sell there surplus to get the coin while it’s there.But no I wouldn’t pay a grand for a £250 dog but i just bought a 5/8whippet 3/8 beddie pup for £325 which I was happy with.

    Just remember how far you push the bulb into its socket,as if it’s in to far it leaves a black spot in the middle of the beam.

    My mate uses his like that mate but he has him like a spaniel with hand signals and everything,goes to show you put the time and effort in you don’t need a gun dog.He has had all of his over the years doing it.
